Eli Wong, Morality and Malaysia – The Land of Spooky Coincidence

1. Elizabeth Wong,  Selangor executive council member and Bukit Lanjan assemblyman has announced her resignation from both posts today following the circulation of her nude photographs, paving the way for a third by-election within the next two months. Anyway, her fate is still being decided by the party leadership, who are considering whether to accept her resignation.

2. Have you seen the photos? What nude photos? Like a friend asked me, “Apa yang lucah bro?” I am more indecently dressed at home in comparison with those photos. Nude photos my foot! There is hardly any nudity in those pics, not even semi nude.

Even those photos by that infamous morally constipated guardian – cheongsamlover are more indecently taken. Well, perhaps there are other photos. I don’t know.

3. It is ridiculous and unfair to compare Eli Wong’s case with Chua Soi Lek or D.P. Vijandran. Chua Soi Lek the bugger was engaged in an extra-marital affair, an adulterer and violated the Penal Code!  (yes blowjob oral sex is illegal under the stupid law so don’t get caught nyahahahaha!) He was lucky he escaped scott free and went to become MCA No 2.

My First Time & Parking Summon is a Bloody Scam!

There is a first time for everything.

I had my few first time ‘things’ yesterday, since I came to Miri to work in December.

1. First time getting sick, since I started working in Miri.

Got the full package – sore throat, flu, fever, cough on Friday night. Saturday and Sunday getting worst. I hate to go to the doctor, but I couldn’t take an official leave from work without MC, so yesterday I went to see the doctor.

Psstt.. I only took the medication for flu so far. Argh I hate medicine..

Silverchair aka Kerusi Perak – Suicidal Dream, Stomp the frog!

If you are thinking I am going to write about politics just by reading the title, you are wrong..

I am walking down the memory lane! Friends and I were talking about ehem.. how it is a suicidal move for any component party from BN to accept any of the toads.. then suddenly of to talking about suicidal dreams..

Suicidal Dream by Silverchair

I dream about, how it’s going to end,
Approaching me quickly,
Leaving a life of fear,
I only want my mind to be clear,
People, making fun of me,
For no reason but jealousy,
I fantasise about my death,
I’ll kill myself from holding my breath,

My suicidal dream,
Voices telling me what to do,
My suicidal dream,
I’m sure you will get yours too,

Help me, comfort me,
Stop me from feeling what I’m feeling now,
The rope is here,
Now I’ll find a use,
I’ll kill myself,
I’ll put my head in a noose,

My suicidal dream,
Voices telling me what to do,
My suicidal dream,
I’m sure you will get yours too,

Dreamin’ about my death, dream,
Suicidal, suicidal, suicidal dream,
I’m suicidal,
Suicidal dream.

Perak Constitution Crisis?? Urgent appeal to the Sultan to re-look the constitution by Kim Quek.

This is taken from the visitor’s book at His Majesty’s website, a comment written by Kim Quek, a profilic Malaysian political commentator:

Comments: PERAK CONSTITUTION CRISIS FROM MISINTERPRETATION OF WORDS?

Urgent appeal to the Sultan to re-look the constitution.

06.02.2009, 1020 hrs.

Is it possible that a slight difference in wording between the state constitution of Perak and the federal constitution pertaining to the loss of confidence of Menteri Besar/Prime Minister has misled the Sultan of Perak into thinking that the constitutional requirement necessitating the Mentri Besar to resign has been fulfilled?

Judging from the Sultan’s statement explaining his decision to appoint a new mentri besar, that seems to be the case. Let me quote the relevant paragraph of the Sultan’s statement explaining why Mentri Besar Nizar Jamaluddin must step down:

“After meeting all the 31 assemblymen, DYMM Paduka Seri Sultan of Perak was convinced that YAB Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin had ceased to command the confidence of the majority of the State Assembly members

February 5, 2009 – Saddest day in the history of Malaysia, especially for the people of Perak.

February 5, 2009 marks the saddest day in the history of Malaysia. Greed prevails.

It is final. No dissolution of DUN and BN is most likely to be the new boss in Perak. Politics is dirty and Umno just showed how despicable and dirty it is. People are worrying about the ailing economy and these maggots are celebrating their victory.

It is good that it happened as it is a blessing in disguise. Let’s put few things into perspective.

1) Victory?? Umno/BN must be really dumb to think it is the victor in this latest political drama. PR won big in PRU12, won Permatang Pauh and Kuala Terengganu – all this with huge public support but BN ‘wins’ back Perak and risk losing any remote remaining support from the rakyat for the dirty and ugly tactics – threats and bribes. A Malay saying ‘ayam menang (or menang sorak), kampung tergadai‘ is apt to describe this ‘winning’.

Tengku Razaleigh in his blog put it into perspective how BN will suffer the backlash and contempt if no fresh election is called.

“Angry voters nationwide will reject the BN even more vehemently in the next general election if snap polls are not held in Perak.”

Latest political shit: Perak has fallen. Kedah is also about to fall.

Updated: February 5th, 2009

3.25pm: It learnt that Mohd Nizar will announce his refusal to resign as requested by the sultan.

3.20pm All top Pakatan leaders are in a meeting at Mohd Nizar’s official residence to chart their next course of action. A press conference is expected to be held soon. Notable absentees are Kedah MB Azizan Razak and Kelantan MB Niz Aziz Nik Mat.

About 30 supporters have gathered outside the residence. A big team of some 50 journalists are also waiting there.

3pm: The office of the Sultan of Perak, in a statement, said that after meeting all the 28 BN assemblypersons and the three independents, the sultan was convinced that Mohd Nizar had ceased to command the confidence of the majority of the state assembly members.

“If YAB Datuk Seri Ir. Mohammad Nizar bin Jamaluddin does not resign his post as Perak menteri besar together with the members of the state executive council, the posts of menteri besar and state executive councillors are considered vacant,” the statement said.

2.40pm: The five Indian state representatives in Perak – A Sivasubramaniam (DAP-Buntong), V Sivakumar (DAP-Tronoh), Keshvinder Singh (DAP-Malim Nawar), S Kesavan (PKR-Hutan Melintang) and A Sivanesan (DAP-Sungkai) – held a press conference earlier today that they would remain loyal to Pakatan Rakyat.

Speaker Sivakumar said that various approaches were made to entice them to cross over to BN.

“We were offered money and high posts in party (MIC) and government but we rejected the advances of these people,” he said.
