Move to revisit 125 proposals lauded

Jun 22 – KUALA LUMPUR: The Home Ministry’s move to revisit the 125 recommendations by the Royal Commission to Enhance the Operation and Management of the Royal Malaysian Police in 2005 has received positive response.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein was quoted in a report in the New Sunday Times as saying that, in line with the aim to enhance the image and operations of the police force, he would be retracing the steps to see if the recommendations had been carried out and if they had made an impact.

Without going into details as to which recommendations he wanted to address, Hishammuddin said he was aware the people still had negative perceptions when it came to the police force and that police officers still had grievances that had to be looked into.

Home Minister backtracks on revisiting Royal Commission report on police

PUTRAJAYA, June 23 – Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein said the Home Ministry will come up with a new strategy to boost public confidence in the police force, instead of revisiting the 125 recommendations made by the Royal Commission’s report on the police.

Two days ago, the Home Minister announced that he aims to enhance the image and operations of the force by revisiting the 125 recommendations made by the Royal Commission to enhance the operation and management of the Royal Malaysian Police in 2005.

The Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) was one of the key recommendations made by Royal Commission but was rejected by the police.

Hishammuddin was defensive when asked about IPMC and said it was unfair to target only the police.

“Why are we only looking at the police? That is totally unfair because it is sensational? Because it is something worth to write about?

“But there are a lot of things that you can write as far as KDN is concern and this is what I want to put the record straight within a very short period of time as I lead this ministry,” he said.

Hishammuddin was at Putrajaya International Convention Centre to hold a dialogue with Malaysian heads of mission at the 7th Heads of Missions conference.

The Home Ministry will also be setting up a new international division and research development division.

“The main thing is to ensure that whatever we do, we have to ensure the outcome to be internationally benchmarked. Just having output on paper will be meaningless, we need outcomes where the public can feel it,” he explained.

The sheer arrogance, stupidity, ignorance and heartless stand of  our cabinet ministers not only repulsive to snuff the confidence both local and international investors but also the average citizen on the street.

What new strategy? We don’t need new strategy. Public lost their confidence in the police force because they see no concrete actions taken to improve the force and the tendency of our police force to act with prejudice and bias against opposition parties, leaders and supporters.

The resounding failure to implement and accept the suggestions by an independent royal commission created with an objective to study the problems faced by the police force and to check corruption, abuse of power and other serious malpractices in the police force is definitely one of the reason behind the low public confidence in the public force.

What is a better strategy than to follow the ready suggestions? To find a new strategy to get new suggestions? That’s so confusing. I really don’t understand this logic, well I shall blame myself for not having a big nose like Hishammuddin? Oh, don’t geddit? A high, wide forehead indicates intelligence, so in this case a big nose also indicates intelligence lah no? Big = good mah! Not true ah? Then big nose indicates what? HAHAHAHAHAHAA!

So, Mr KerisHishammuddin Hussein Onn, let me quote you again:

The police force is tasked to look after the safety and security of the citizens, so if we are not looking at the police, who should we look at? Shall we appeal to the triads and gangsters then? Ah Longs? Chicken rice sellers? Sensational or not, that’s beside the point and of course it is something WORTH to write about. Are you saying it’s not worth to write about this issue? What a blittering nincompoop!

Why the recommendation to set up IPCMC was rejected? You did not provide any concrete reason, so please explain. Why so defensive when asked about IPCMC if our police force is efficient, effective and honest?  What’s is so bad about having an independent body to work as a check and balance to the police force?

Wait, I thought we ARE being fair to target only the police when we talk about IPCMC because it’s relevant to them? We can’t target others for example, foreign maids and their employers when we talk about IPCMC right? Not unless we are taking about a day off in a week suggestion. Get a dictionary and look up the word ‘relevant’, please?

Stop wasting our time and money on  setting up  a “new international division and research development division”. International division my foot. To boost up public confidence and gain their trust in our police force, you should do only one thing – to implement the recommendations by the Royal Commission to Enhance the Operation and Management of the Royal Malaysian Police and we will definitely FEEL it.

Of course we need outcomes, not just output on paper and that’s exactly why we want the recommendations (on paper) by the commission to be carried out, you fool! Why we need another “research body” which will provide more or less the same recommendations in the end? How are we going to “internationally benchmark the outcomes’” when simple thing like implement what has been suggested cannot be carried out? Just shut the crap up if you can’t do the job, Hishammuddin!

Well, if any of you have been paying attention to Hishammuddin’s career, all the ministries he was involved, you will observe that he had not contributed anything for the betterment of the ministry. He had all along been warming the seat, saying the right thing to his followers, polishing the leaders and also using the heritage line to advance his career.

What an useless piece of junk, just like his uncle. Hey, it runs in the family, maybe a disease gene passing through the generations? Oh so lucky, wheeeeeeeeee!

KUALA LUMPUR: The Government has agreed to make it compulsory for employers to give a day off a week for their maids.

Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam said: “The ministry will make it mandatory for all domestic helpers to sign the contract of employment containing provisions like salary, the name of employers, their workplaces and the compulsory one day off a week.”

Yes you heard it right! Finally, our caring government has decided to make it compulsory for employers to give a day off a week for their maids. Something to rejoice? Perhaps not.

What it’s like working as a maid in Malaysia? Generally, maids in Malaysia needs to work 7 days a week, hardly get any day off, low pay (actually I think the agencies ripped both the empoyers and the maids off and make the most money out of this) Worst if they work with fussy employers and need to perform all sort of task from cleaning the house, taking care of the kids, sending and picking them from school, cooking food, washing cars, doing laundry, watering gardens, cleaning shits, walking the dog, taking care of the geriatrics you-name-the-work etc.

Maids working in Malaysia = Superwomen or Wonderwomen. These foreign maids choose to work her despite the low salary because it’s nearer to their hometown, common and very much similar environment – weather, food, language etc..

I once saw a maid with a family in a shopping mall, buying groceries. The poor maid was carrying the daughter on one hand, and pushing a trolly packed to the brim using another hand. A boy was tugging closely to her, must be the couple’s son. The couple walked in front carrying nothing, lenggang-lenggang kangkung. (strolling freely with willy hanging out ok-i-don’t-know-why-i-type-this-haha)

Another time, I was eating at this one food court, I saw this one family eating and the maid was sitting on another table, eating alone. No, the family’s table was not fully seated. WTF? She looked so lonely and sad sitting alone, chewing her food.

So, it’s not surprising and downright shocking for me to read about the employers prostesting against this move. It is one thing to read about how inconsiderate for these people to think ‘a day off in a week’ is something ‘lavish’ or should not be granted to their workers and it is another to read the excuses given by them. I was dumbfounded and I must say it is kinda disgusting to read the excuses/reasons given by some of these retarded sadists, for I can’t imagine such inconsiderate nincompoop-moron-dungu-idiots living among us.

She is apprehensive that the day off would be used by the maid to get involved in “unhealthy activities.

Oh? They get a day off and they would use this ‘great chance’ to do nothing but to get involved in ‘unhealthy activities’? This is the lamest excuse I ever heard. After working their asses off like donkeys (sorry donkey) for 6 days straight, they sure can’t wait to get involved in ‘unhealthy activities’ heh! So, if they don’t work as maid, then they must be plotting something evil like robbing banks, rempit-ing or killing orphans then?

“I don’t mean to discriminate but from past stories, we’ve all heard about how maids have gone missing after a week of working.”

We’ve all heard also how employers treat some maids inhumanely, worst than treating a dog prior to them gone missing, after a week of working. If anything, most of the maids ‘run away’ because of better offers from other places. (forget that part about them getting cheated, for a while) These employers must be scared of their maids getting or hearing some good ‘lubang‘ (opportunities) from other maids.

“Imagine if all the 300,000 foreign maids are given the same day off, then places like shopping malls will be teeming with these people!”

Damn! No wonder the shopping malls are full during  the weekend! It is because most Malaysians work only 5 days a week and would be free during the weekend! Malaysia is so small, now with so many people not working during the weekend, especially when 300,000 foreign maids  getting a day off, everywhere must be packed with people! How scary! Waaaaaaaaa! And, listen to the tone this idiot used to describe the foreign maids – ‘these people!’

Malaysians are hypocrites a lot. Not only the politicians. They want the best for themselves like working only 5 days a week, shorter working hours, minimum wage. high paying jobs, handsome perks and all the good shits, but when the foreign workers ask something as reasonable as ‘a day off’ in a week, they would say it’s unfair, not a wise move or downright no and offer some stupid justifications.

Hypocrites. I hate hypocrites. *crush them like cockraches* *stamp stamp*

pss: I wanted to write something along the line ‘Umno is in a hurry to sodomise Pas and Muhyiddin is a snake’ but I guess that needs to wait.

After Altercation, No Further Discussion On Pork Price Hike – Associations

KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 (Bernama) — The Federation of Livestock Farmers Associations of Malaysia (FLSFA) and Selangor and Federal Territory Butchers Association will have no further discussion on the pork price hike after a heated argument broke out during a meeting on Tuesday.

FLSFA Pork Division director Jeffrey Beh said there would be no more discussion between the two associations after their meeting with Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Datuk Tan Lian Hoe that day ended in a verbal battle between the leaders.

“The butchers association members were behaving like gangsters. They were unreasonable and confrontational,” claimed Beh when contacted by Bernama.

He said after the heated exchange, the FLSFA representatives left the meeting.

MIRI: Puzzled residents of Kampung Pujut have been flocking to Sungai Miri for the past five days to gawk at the headless carcass of a crocodile floating in the river.
Nobody knows who chopped its head off and removed its genitals, but the belief is that it could have been done to make traditional medicine.

” For the past two days, the stench has been unbearable,” said Ingkai Sulaiman yesterday.

He said many large crocodiles have been spotted on the banks, especially near the mouth of the river.

“I have seen at least 10 large crocodiles resting on the banks. Two were at least seven metres long.” *********

KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) — The Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has urged husbands to follow the personality traits of Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, a patient father, husband and leader.

“I have not come across anyone as patient as him (Najib),” she said when launching the book ‘Najib Perdana Menteri ke-6′ at Wisma Pertahanan here Tuesday.

Rosmah reminded husbands not to scold their wives as they too had responsibilities and were under pressure.

A TV actor tried to make a quick escape – minus his clothes – when Selangor Religious Department (Jais) officers raided his fiancee’s apartment in Petaling Jaya, reported Harian Metro.

The actor, who appears in a mystic and horror TV series, managed to climb to the next unit’s balcony on the fifth floor at 3am recently.

Five Jais officers raided the apartment after receiving complaints from neighbours that the actor and his fiancee would meet up frequently at her home.

The woman, also in her 20s and an assistant producer in the TV series, told the officers that she lived alone.

The woman, who was dressed in a sleeveless top and skimpy shorts, allowed officers into her room where they found a pair of men’s trousers Jais Special Force Unit chief Shahrom Maarop said: “Further inspection found signs that a person had exited through the balcony.”

Zambry is MB, rules court

PUTRAJAYA, May 22 – The Court of Appeal today returned a unanimous decision that Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Zambry Abd Kadir is the rightful Perak mentri besar, ruling that his Pakatan Rakyat rival Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddinn had ceased to command the majority in the Perak state assembly.

The judges also ruled that the Sultan was right in appointing Zambry the MB and that there was no need for a vote of no confidence in the House against Nizar.

The three-member Bench comprising Justices Md Raus Shariff, Zainun Ali and Ahmad Maarop delivered judgment after hearing submissions from both parties yesterday.

However, the Court of Appeal decision is not expected to bring an end to the crisis in Perak as the parties can still appeal to the Federal Court. ************

Manek Urai rep dies, another by-election now

KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 – Five-term Kelantan PAS lawmaker Ismail Yaacob died this morning at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kota Bahru, paving the way for the seventh by-election since March last year. He was 60.

He died at 6am after succumbing to a long illness.

The Manek Urai assemblyman, who first won the seat in 1986, defeated Barisan Nasional’s Mohamed Zulkifli Omar by 1,352 votes in last year’s general election.

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng hit out at MCA President Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat for failing to practice what he had preached when he assumed the MCA presidency.

While praising Ong’s deputy, Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek, Lim hit out at Ong for repudiating and disassociating himself from Chua’s views that the Perak state legislative assembly should be dissolved and fresh elections called.

“Ong had promised that he would be an efficient president, who would ensure democracy is upheld and he would listen to the views of people,” Lim said at a press conference today.

“Just because he wants to obtain favour and support of Umno, he is going against what he preaches even though Perakians are demanding for fresh elections.

“His act can be considered a cowardly act unlike Chua who dares to do what Ong had promised but failed to deliver.”

It’s not haze that you see

KUALA LUMPUR: It just looks hazy, but there’s no haze in Malaysia at the moment, according to the director-general of Environment, Datuk Rosnani Ibarahim.

“Since it is the dry season now, the air becomes dry and hazy but it doesn’t mean that haze is coming back,” she said.

Rosnani advised the public to refrain from all open burning because the fire would spread fast in the dry season. Rosnani said so far there were fewer than 10 hot spots in the country. — Bernama

It smells like haze, looks like haze but it is not haze. It must be shit then. Not mine, so you go figure.

pss: It is hazy in my new place – Permyjaya. But now I am not sure if it is haze. Could it be birds’ shits flying around that smell like haze and look like haze? I am confused.
