The curse of the ’signboard’.

Photos taken somewhere on the road to Sungai Asap, Belaga.
Enjoy the video…
ps: No visible phone booth nearby the area. No mobile coverage here either. I had Celcom and Maxis with me at that time.
pss: Heavy trucks and trailers from among the biggest timber companies in Sarawak using this road on daily basis, maybe government should consider charging them a hefty sum for road maintenance.

Maybe the timber companies should be 100% responsible to built the road, they earn millions or maybe billions a year and yet they have never give back any cents for others people benefit like that road above or maybe they’ve been busy feeding their “dogs” :p

by looking at a glance on the road condition (based on the picture), it is much better as compared to miri-bakong road.
ps-btw, will be going for a field trip to sg.asap, bakun this coming sept.

The road is bad, they don’t need the sign, just be stationed there permanently. However, the extreme is a matter of balance – good highways = toll booth.

The situation in my hometown (Lawas) is even worst. The road from Ba’Kelalan-Long Semadoh-Lawas is bad that you literally see the 4×4 trucks sailing along a sea of mud.
