A confession of a recovering addict

I have a fickle mind. It is a weakness. Sometimes I can’t be sure what I really want. For instance, I will try many shirts and pants before deciding what I want to wear. When I buy something, I will scrutinize and test everything before I decide, or I may end up not buying. Indecisiveness. I think some who knows me well can testify for that.

I am also the person that when I want something, I want it at that time, if possible. I do not like to wait when I can get it/do it and this is another weakness. I always do things hastily and sometimes I didn’t put much thought and consideration when doing it. Spur of the moment thing. Yeah, carpe diem heh? Seize the moment by the balls. For some people it is spontaneous and fun, but after much self evaluations and reflections, there are many things that I regretted doing. If I could turn back time, yes I would change all that. I never talk much about things that I regretted doing, only to people I really close with. Perhaps it is time to share some stories.

R.A.N.D.O.M

I am back to the virtual world Missing out a lot of actions. I bet Suituapui has plenty of posts since last week for me to read.. since he’s bugging me everyday to online/post up something. 1st sms I received when I came back from Kuala Terengganu was from Suituapui - ‘Why no post? Cibol very active now, he got a internet connection already.’ ROFTLMAO… Then Man-D sms-ed me with her new mobile number asking about my ‘holiday’ haha! ‘What’s with the king size bed?’ Thanks for all the smses

As I mentioned in my previous post, I was away for a work trip to Hulu Terengganu. Need not to say, no internet connection and even my Digi line hardly make itself available there. Crap, what ‘WIDEST Coverage’ ‘Always with you’ ‘Always the smartest choice’ lah… I feel dumb the whole week Oklah, in their advertisement they put (Almost). I still can send and receive sms, but cannot send or receive mms or make and receive call.

I took some photos and videos while I was there. I stayed at Lake Kenyir Resort & Spa. Yes I sent the mms to Suituapui, my room with a king size bed. Dirty old man, I was showing off how comfortable and big the bed I had for myself lah! Not suggesting anything, especially to Suituapui! NOooo!! Never!!!! Some of the random photos I took on the trip:

Kenyir Lake, well small part of it. The whole lake is bigger than Singapore. Yes, Malaysia and its inferiority complex. Must mention we have bigger, longer, taller things here.

Here is one video I took using my mobile while cruising the lake. (Ehem, I did that after finished my work, okay!)

This the the Saok waterfall. I did not get the chance to perform ’skinny dipping’ there, it was late in the evening and I did not want to scare the animals that might be peeping.

This video was taken on our way to the project site using the logging track. Ignore the eerie laugh, and sorry for making you turning your head in such an angle to view the video properly. Hahahahaha!

I am quite busy right now. I have to arrange few things. I am relocating to Sarawak next week. Yes, you hear that right. I am leaving Klang Valley. No Zewt and NoktahHitam, me not in Sarawak right now. (They told me before they thought I was in Sarawak all this while , not in Klang Valley.) Company will send me there for a project, probably for few months or up to a year.

After that, I will back back to Klang Valley!

Guess many things I cannot enjoy after I leave here. Such as this:

*LC - Lan si - Lan si is often used to describe a snobbish person, a show off. Ehem, lan = penis, si = shit. Literally = shitty penis?? Lan si refers to that layer of filth under the fore skin of a penis. Hence, shit and penis respectively. Example of usage:

1. That person damn lan si.

2. You haven’t cleaned under your fore skin, there’s a lot of lan si and it stinks. Moral of the story, clean it or get yourself circumcised.

Sorry, sidetrack a bit there. Back to Sarawak, no more premiere screenings. Cannot LC anymore. Need to watch cheapo dvds on the market after this

I have few things to say to some good friends. Some of them I yet to meet them in person but we definitely have a good ‘chemistry’ in the virtual world. (Uh, that sounds pretty gay yeah?) I made a lot of friends especially into the year 2008.

NoktahHitam, Zewt: Guess I cannot make it to have teh tarik with you guys before I leave. Zewt, have a great days ahead in Down Under. Keep the great entries coming yeah! NoktahHitam, keep on EMO-ing hahaha! EMO itu penting!

Angeles, no chance meeting you as well. Ehem, still can poke poke in Facebook and goofing around in this blog, right? Kopi Soh, if you are reading this, we keep contact through Facebook okay?

Man-D, Melbie, Lola, Mar - I will definitely see you guys at Rainforest World Music Festival this July! Looking forward to meeting you pretty Sabahan ladies!

There are some that I met through Deny BN a 2/3 Majority group in Facebook and then we become very good friends. I regularly meet up with some of them for coffee/beer and crapping away. Some I never meet with, but we are already friends I know some of them reading this blog (I RSS it to my Notes application in Facebook as well). It is great meeting you guys, definitely more chances to meet up in future, please keep me updated and I shall make a special appearance just for that.

So to Jason, Casey, Durvan, Brian ,Antonia, Azira, Edward, Dofu, Marise, Joanne, Terence, Ajim, Khairul, Ibac, Padma, Marise, Joethi, Medaline, Caleb, Sandra, Shazeea and friends, I will miss you guys. Guess I will be away from Facebook for short period, please behave.

I am quite sad leaving all my good friends here, some of them you already know. Mary, good luck in your new job. Be happy in everything that you do I will come back for the delicious Hokkien Mee. Cibol, go screw yourself and keep the super EMO posts coming. Nyahahahaha! Dude, spare me a place when I am in KL next time. Me have no place to stay no more. See you at RWMF! Psstt.. when are you getting your tattoo? I cannot join you for the inking session if you plan to do it in KL then.

I wonder if Bahasa Melayu or any ethnic language in Malaysia is popular enough to be inked on the body. So far I yet to see anybody do that haha! Imagine walking around seeing “Tak Melayu hilang di dunia!’ Opss.. in Malaysia, Melayu = Islam so tattoo is forbidden for them. Still we as Malaysians, those do not have any religious restriction can do it. Let me see, what are the famous quotes in Bahasa Melayu that I can remember:

Inked!

It is Friday again! Time for a lazy and light post, hurray! I know most of you visit this blog and just be a silent reader when you read my ‘heavy’ posts, such as the one I posted yesterday. Too bad it is my style of blogging and as you know it is kinda hard not to write in your own way hehe. After all you are here to read what I write and going through my craps not to read what you expect me to write right? Or it is the other way around?

Cibol posted something on tattoos yesterday on his blog. I couldn’t resist writing something on that as well. Some of you probably still remember I wrote New Year resolutions for year 2007 on my old Wordpress blog. The blog is no longer accessible and my resolutions also buried together with the blog. Haha!

One of the resolutions is to get a tattoo for myself last year. Well, I yet to do it Money problem lah! I did some surveys at tattoo parlours, the price for the size and design that I have in mind will cost poor me around RM1000 to RM2000!! Yes, now you can imagine what is the size of the tattoo I am going to get!

I already have the design, still need a bit of tweaking but when I have the money I will make an appointment with the tattoo artist for more details. No money, no talk lah! I want to get a tattoo with tribal motive, on my back, some sort like a wing. Yeah, many people love to have tribal tattoos. Believe it or not, search engine results show that almost 33% of searches for tattoos are for tribal tattoo designs. (I read it somewhere) I am not belong to any tribe anyway : P I do not think Chinese originally have tribal tattoos before it is popularized, or maybe I am wrong?? Chinese tattoos as far as I know are more on fairy tale animals such as phoenix, dragon, tiger, Chinese symbols and characters. Yawn..

Tribal tattoos are popular because of the attention given to its classical design and the meaning behind them. (I doubt that they still maintain that ‘classical’ roots now…)They use flowing, strong black lines and curves to create wonderful images which also seem to flow on your skin. It is better than something temporary or sentimental which might lose meaning after some time making you regret your choice of getting that tattoo. Tribal tattoo also preferred because of its anonymity. Nobody else will be able to make out the meaning behind the piece of art on your skin; it’ll remain an enigma.
