Confronting my devil

I am a sarcastic person. I would be overly sarcastic when I am pissed off. Believe me, you don’t want to be on the receiving end when I am in that mode. At that moment, I would forget all my manners. Generally I think I am quite a good mannered person and you seldom see me get angry over things. Yes, I am not that angry person as you imagine by reading stuffs written by me in this blog. I am actually a very easy going person, I love plants and animals, I hug trees.. hahaha!

I would not hesitate to say things I should not say even to people that I love and respect. I tend to say the meanest things when I am angry. Personally I think it is more less hurtful to be told off directly than sarcastically, so the things I would say at that time are more hurting. Most of the time, I regretted what I said after I cooled down and evaluated my actions. More than not, I swallowed my egotastical pride and  apologised.

He missed her for the lost moments they shared…

She longed for the sweet times.. they both enjoyed..

They found solace in each other..

It felt like a dream as he played it in his mind…

He remembered sitting close to her… real close..

Dear Pak Lah…

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008 93 views

Dear Pak Lah,

How are you? I hope you are busy making plans for your promised ’missions’ that you set to ’see through’ before you step down as Prime Minister. I have faith in you to carry out your missions in the next 5 months (time is ticking fast, you still have 4 months+ now), although in the span of 5 years you are in power you have failed forgotten to ’see through’ the reforms you promised when you took over this country from the old man.

Few months after you came into power, you did give Malaysians a new hope with your anti corruption policies. You promised to clamp down on corruption, thus empowering corruption agencies and providing more avenues for the public to expose corrupt practices. You opened investigations against several prominent figures from the old man’s era, arrested some ministers and all look pretty good but as Malays proverb says ‘Ku sangka panas sampai ke petang, rupanya hujan di tengahari.’ (I thought of using another proverb ‘Hangat hangat tahi ayam’ to describe your efforts in combating corruption but I am afraid you may be offended by the word ‘tahi’.)

Toughest Tag I Did So Far - ‘Killer Love’ Tag

Monday, October 20th, 2008 129 views

Lochoe started this killer tag, and the general response from those who did this tag, it’s a F-damn-tough tag to do. This tag is hard to do, especially if you have strings attached (read: in a relationship, married) Another reason is, it requires digging the past (sometimes it can be painful) and having a lot of courage, honesty and truthfulness to complete this tag. Put it this way, there are things we want to forget, and there are things we want to keep to ourselves, right? (and hidden from the rest, forever?)

So, Syam of Aeropama.com tagged me because he spent 4 torturing hours to complete his ’story’ and he wants me to endure such pain as well. Fine, let me try my very best.

Ego massage, anyone?

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 166 views

It is been a while since I post anything narcissistic. Once in a while, I need to be assured that I am the ultimate sex god, smartest pant on earth, most suave, good looking chunk hunk around, well you get the idea - flattering self reassurance or ‘ego massage’. It is comforting to read something good about yourself, to be told you are the best shit and depending on how you react to such compliments, it can motivate you to do better in life or it can stroke your grotesquely inflated ego until it burst as a result of self complacency.

This behaviour of self indulgence is quite disgusting if overdone. Excessive feeling of self-satisfaction is bad as some wise goats put it - ‘too much of a good thing is bad for you’. Good things must be taken in moderation for example red wine, taken in moderation reduces risk of prostrate cancer. (Guys take note!)
