Abdul Razak Baginda acquitted
S Pathmawathy | Oct 31, 08 10:00am

The Shah Alam High Court today acquitted political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda of abetting the alleged murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Justice Mohd Zaki Md Yasin ruled that the prosecution failed to prove a prima facie case against Abdul Razak.

The court however ordered Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, 32 and Corporal Sirul Azha Umar, 37, who are members of the Special Action Force (UTK), to enter their defence to the charge of murder.

Both decided to testify under oath. They will be taking the stand on Nov 10.

The prosecution is expected to file an appeal against Abdul Razak’s acquittal.

Altantuya was allegedly shot before her body was blown up with explosives two years ago.

Azilah and Sirul are jointly charged with murdering Altantuya, 28, at a location between Lot 12843 and Lot 16735 in Mukim Bukit Raja, Selangor between 10am on Oct 19, 2006 and 1am the following day.

Abdul Razak Baginda, 47, was charged with abetting them. He is a known confidante of Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, having worked on government arms procurement projects while the latter was defence minister.

The prosecution closed its case against the trio on June 23 after 151 days of testimony from 84 witnesses.

An elated Abdul Razak left the court with his wife and daughter at about 10.10am.

Refusing to address the journalists who cornered him, Abdul Razak merely said: “I just want to go home”.

Why I am not surprised? The outcome of this case, already predicted by many before the court reached its verdict. Sceptics couldn’t help but to think that the whole thing is nothing but a well written script, with spoilers for each episodes and ending easily available for ‘early screening’.

Lingamed: A disease running amok!

A New Lingham in the Making

Excerpts from the question-and-answer session by Malaysiakini’s Andrew Ong & Tarani Palani with Hospital Pusrawi’s general manager Wan Mahmood Wan Yaacob and hospital’s medical director Kamaruddin Ahmad.Kamaruddin:

Q: If you have not been in contact with the doctor, how do you know that the doctor did not conduct a medical check-up for sodomy?

A: We based our decision on the medical report he wrote.

Q: So are there two different reports? Are they (the report that is circulating) the same (as the original)?

A: It is the same report.

Q: You do have the original report, so is it (the copy that is circulating) the genuine report?

A: I cannot say if it is the genuine unless someone confirms, the committee. Maybe, maybe not. It looks the same but it is not the original copy, that is with me.

Looks the same but it is not the same because we have the original copy.

Q: Are the contents the same? It is the original copy from Pusrawi?

A: Yes.

Q: He (Saiful) was not examined for sodomy, but (how come) the doctor said that there was no signs of sodomy.

A: He came complaining of pain in the anus, so that’s a part of the routine, you look for pus, bleeding.

Q: How is this different from an actual sodomy check-up?

A: He came complaining of anus pain not complaining of sodomy. So the doctor performed a check-up for anus pain not sodomy.

Q: What led the doctor TRO (to rule out) sodomy? Why?

A: Because Saiful mentioned that he was sodomised. Sodomy check-up has to be done by a specialist not a medical officer. You need a gut specialist. We don’t have one in Pusrawi.

Q: Does that mean that Dr Mohamed Osman is not qualified to make any conclusions?

A: He is not qualified to make any statements, any conclusions (with regards to sodomy).

Q: You have spoken to Dr Mohamed who has confirmed that he examined Saiful and confirmed that he has signed this medical report, why is the hospital still not convinced that it is the genuine medical report? Why is it taking so long to match the copy with the original copy?

A: We just realised this. When? Two days ago. It is just like VK Lingam said, “It looks like me, sounds like me but it is not me”.

Q: You are not disputing whether the medical report is real. You are disputing if Dr Mohamed has the qualifications to ascertain that (sodomy had occurred). Basically you are discrediting your own medical staff?

A: No, but not when concerning this case. Is he suspended? No, he is on leave.

Q; If the contents of the reports are the same are you acknowledging that the report could have been from Pusrawi?

A: It could have been. It is the same.

Q: There are two different writing on the medical report.

A: Yes, there are two different. The patient arrived to see a doctor, and he meet with a female doctor first. After he complained of his anus pain, than he was passed on to a male doctor (Dr Mohamed).

Somebody, please take a sledge hammer and give those two muthafuckas a good smack in the head? What kind of stupid answers they gave for the interview? I do no farking understand even half of the answers given by those dimwits from Pusrawi Hospital.

Idiots are narcissistic too!

Saturday, July 19th, 2008 34 views

Pak Lah, why must you open your mouth? It was all good and peaceful in Malaysia that you kept quiet for the past few days.. (well, there are always some other idiots making noise anyway..) then you started to open your mouth again thus showing what an idiot you are. People would never know you are ‘less smart’ if you just keep quiet and do not make any noise.

The authorities require a fresh DNA sample from Anwar Ibrahim because the sample extracted 10 years ago is too old, said Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today. - Malaysiakini

I suggest Pak Lah or people around him to read up Wikipedia and use Google wisely.

1. Researchers retrieved DNA from the teeth of a Neanderthal man, that’s 40000 years old teeth. Google, Wikipedia

2. DNA of Egyptian mummies can be analyzed.

3. DNA of 10000 year old mammoth remains can be decoded.

4. DNA from dinosaurs bones was also partly identified, that makes it 65 million years at least.

5. DNA for unsolved crime cases, some 40 years ago.

6. There are many more cases where DNA is used as evidence, there is no such thing as ‘old DNA’ only contaminated or damaged sample.

There are many more examples, go and look them out yourself. Eh wait, being the government they always say Internet = Lies, no wonder they never bother to look up these ‘lies’.

10 years DNA sample = Old?? What a lot of crap!

This reminds me of Nordin Kardi, another ’smart pant’ that couldn’t keep his mouth shut and was trying to be smart only to be the biggest butt joke of Malaysians. Read Noktah Hitam’s post here. Vice Chancellor? Nah!

Just another day there was this guy on Facebook, on one of the topic in the discussion board, he called me and my friends ‘idiots’ and presented his ‘facts’. Needless to say, his idiotic comments/arguments/facts received much ‘love’ from us. We debunked his ‘facts’ only for him to relentlessly provided more ‘facts’. He loves to talk economy, which seems to be his ’strongest’ point. One of his facts, I quote:

“eh… i also just imitate anwar only maa.. he also need to take up economics 101. I wonder where he get all his figures.. No country in this world is 10 times richer than malaysia. Norway is just 4 times richer!! and 8% inflation? did he just blurt it out with no backup? Com’on la.. all his points are lie!! why you people believe in such a blatant lier?”

Gross National Income Per Capita (2006):

1) Luxembourg - USD 71,240.00
2) Norway - USD 68,440.00
3) Switzerland - USD 58,050.00
.
.
58) Malaysia - USD 5,490.00

Data from World Bank:

Source: Wikipedia

A Deutsche Bank survey two years ago calculated that the real rate of inflation in the Klang Valley was closer to 8%.

Source: businesstimes.com.sg

HSBC economist Robert Prior-Wandesforde estimated that the fuel price rise, which took effect on Thursday, would push annual inflation in June to 7-8 percent, which could hurt the economy.

Source : Reuters

Nevermind.. everything on the internet, especially blogs  = LIES

Conclusions: Idiots love to make themselves known. They love to display their idiocy. They love to be famous. Hmm.. they are pretty narcissistic too, alright. Narcissism is necessary!

ps: Narcissism describes the trait of excessive self-love, based on self-image or ego.

Shahrir Confirmed Kickdefella’s Finding - No Fuel Subsidy In Budget

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 44 views

I translated a great piece of essay by Kickdefella on “The Truth About Fuel Subsidy” here last Thursday. In that essay, Kickdefella explained his finding how the government actually never include fuel subsidy in the government budget/expenditure and we had been blinded all this while thinking there is such allocation for it and yet we were told this country is ’suffering’ or would go bankrupt because of the fuel subsidy.

On Monday, Shahrir Samad, Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs confirmed this finding. There is NO FUEL SUBSIDY (AND FOOD TOO) in the treasury reports and also not included in the budget!!! Here is the latest post by Kickdefella.

***************************************************

Shahrir Confirmed Kickdefella’s Finding

Update:

129 Ahli Parlimen BN menghalalkan tindakan menderitakan rakyat kesan dari kenaikan harga bahan bakar.

78 Ahli Parlimen Pembangkang menentang.

It is true; fuel subsidy was never in the government budget. It is not just that, even the food subsidy was also never in the budget. As a result, it is an expenditure ‘unaccounted for’ or, an expenditure that never being paid by the government. As a result, fuel and (today we knew that) food subsidy too are not something that government had to pay for from either taxpayer money or from any other government income.

In page 8 in today (Monday, June 23, 2008) New Straits Times, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister, Shahrir Abdul Samad was reported as saying, “…last year the subsidy bill, excluding food and fuel was RM9.2 B”.

With that Shahrir confirmed Kickdefella’s finding that fuel subsidy (and food too) is not in the treasury reports and also not included in the budget.

Shahrir however contradict himself when he points out that, “Add food and fuel and it (the subsidy spent) came to over RM30 B”.

There seems Shahrir himself is getting dumber and dumber each day.

• How can government spent RM30B extra without reporting it to Parliament.
• How can government used extra RM30B and it goes unrecorded in the Treasury records.
• Why did the government did not reveal the real amount she spend or planning to spend it in the budget when they presented it to the Parliament each year.
• The Second Finance Minister, Nor Yakcob claimed the government spent RM35B  alone for fuel subsidy but Shahrir claimed RM30B and that already included food subsidy too.
• What is the actual amount the government spent on subsidy?
• Is there other subsidy too that the government spent such as “Subsidy for Abdullah’s daily usage of diapers” or “Rosmah’s C4 allocation” which goes unrecorded?
• Do the government actually spend money for subsidy?

My fellow Malaysian, does the government actually spend money on subsidy?

My findings show that the amount of subsidy which government claimed totalling from RM30B to RM50B depending on whose big mouth you want to believe is not recorded anywhere. If the government actually spend those amounts, it should be listed in their reports.

Whose money does the government actually spend?

My findings lead us to only one outcome in regards of the fuel subsidy. The ‘subsidy’ actually came from the exchange of crude oil by Petronas. And as nobody shoots me down on this, I tend to say that I am almost correct about it. Maybe 99% correct and if I was wrong, it is only on the details of the exchange.

This will mean,

• Whenever the crude oil price increase, our crude oil price too increase.
• Let put it this way, X is the market price for crude oil that we import.
• Y is the market price for crude oil that we export. The reason our price is Y because ours are Sweet and Light and it is called the ‘Tapis Blend’ which is the most expensive grade in the market.

When the price in the market increase, it will mean that,

• X prices increase.
• Y prices increase.

So why do we spend more money to meet local demand when the market price increase?

The answer is we do not. Yes, we do not spend extra money to get the crude oil we need for local market.

(Petronas has done a wonderful job. It is undeniably that we owe this to those hardworking yet underpaid Petronas staff.)

As a result I do not understand why certain politician from the opposition are blaming Petronas and wants to demonstrate in front of the Twin Tower. They should indeed demonstrate (if they know nothing better to do) in front of the Treasury or in front of Abdullah’s Seri Perdana.

But if I am them, I would just get my facts right and pursue the matter in more civilise manner.

• Try to take some sort of court order to try to stop the government from doing what they are doing. Don’t ask me on what ground they should do it. They are the one who is getting paid for being the ‘Wakil Rakyat’.
• Our judiciary system is much more independent now, right?
• We just paid those ‘rebel’ judges undisclosed amount as ex gratia payment so all the judges should not be worried, because if they go against the government, one day, they will get extra earnings for it.
• File police report if you trust the police.
• File report with the human rights commission because Malaysian has lost certain expect of their rights by the increase in fuel prices.

Last but not least, organise a road show all over the country and explain the truth to the people. They are best at ‘ceramah’ right?

And after that road show, lets gathered 1 million or more Malaysian to peacefully walk to Seri Perdana and all the Minister’s house and demand they reduce back the price of fuel.

I shall be there. I know my readers will be there too.

***************************************************

Now may I add to the well written post by Kickdefella. I quote Mr. Shahrir Samad:

He said since the 9th Malaysia Plan was a development plan, and not about operational expenses, spending on subsidies was treated as an ad-hoc expense instead of a planned one.

“But now it will definitely become a big part of the budget in terms of government spending,” he said, adding that money was also spent to harmonise prices between East and West Malaysia.

What? You mean before this.. all this while spending on subsidies was NEVER treated as A BIG PART of the government spending?? Just as ad-hoc expense instead of a planned one? That is very very shocking! Let me pull out the numbers for you. I quote Foong Wai Fong  (he is the director of Megatrends Asia, best-selling author of ‘Megatrends Asia’ (with John Naistbitt), ‘The New Asian Way’, ‘Mr Prime Minister We Have to Talk’, and ‘Culture Is Good Business’.) in his article “Economy in Jeopardy”:

……the fuel subsidy of RM43 billion is three times the revenue derived from personal income tax of RM13.4 billion and over 20 percent more than the forecast corporate tax of RM34.8 billion. In total, the fuel subsidy is almost 50 percent of the estimated federal government revenue of RM102 billion.

As Foong has shockingly quantified for us above, the government’s current fuel expenditure (subsidy) is RM43 billion whilst the corresponding income is only RM 13.4 billion. I am a bit too confused over the figure of fuel subsidy, at one time it is RM40B, then RM35B then RM30B thanks to the government brilliant tai-chi masters, but let me just use the least figure quoted from the horse’s mouth - RM30B.  Still, this is a very big figure if you take into account of government revenue as highlighted above.

Let’s assume the estimated federal government revenue of RM102B is acceptable, this RM30B is almost 30 percent of it!!! Yet, the government is treating spending on subsidies as ad-hoc spending and not treated as a big part of the government spending?????!!  Got it? To quote Foong again:

The populist approach in Malaysia is to give out candy. It is easier for bureaucrats to do this than to think out real solutions. Unlike in business, bureaucrats spend money without demanding a return, businesses ask for a return before they disburse funds.

This view is best summed up by a foreign diplomat: “Malaysia manages its economy in the political way - talking and making slogans about things, dishing out money so all are relieved, but not asking tough questions and working hard to find solutions.”

I rest my case.

ps: Whoever comes in and writes useless comments like “Wah so long… ” you better think before you do it. Save it for yourself, before you need to be saved…

Bees, Disasters and TDM

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 7 views

A long post. Skip if you are a lazy reader.

I have a lot of things running in my mind right now. I am exhausted. Tired. For the past few days I did a lot of thinking, messing with my flabby, flaccid brain. No I am not quitting this blog like NoktahHitam hahahahaha! (He’s back with vengeance anyway) Some of things are too personal; I feel it should stay that way.

Oh, something weird just happened. There were lots of bees flying outside the office. No idea where they came from and why they were here. What you think the bees were doing? I read somewhere on the internet on frogs and cockroaches ‘running away’ from the area before the earthquake happened. (Now suddenly Hoobastank’s Running Away and Crawling in the Dark are playing in my skull.. :???:) I managed to take some photos. Now imagine the bees swarming your body.. and feast on it.

Attack of the Bees!

So why are you running away?

Why are you running away?

Can’t really see.. but check out the ‘black dots..’

I’ve been crawling in the dark looking for the answer

So many things happened in this month - May. Disasters like in Myammar and Sichuan, China. Yesterday earthquakes detected in Sumatra, previous day in Sabah??! Last night I heard they experienced tremors in OUG, Puchong, Cheras areas?

We are lucky a lot. Malaysia do not have any natural disaster happening so far (yet) except for the tsunami that happened in 2004. Even then we realized that this nation is no where ready to cope with an emergency resulted from a big scale calamities. Just read on the internet how schools in China crumbling down like pieces of Lego structures because of the alleged shoddy works and sub-standard materials used for the buildings.

Being in the construction industry myself and having many friends in this field working in construction firms - some as design engineer in consultancy companies, supervisors or engineers on site for contractors companies, we get to know many things happening in the industry and I can tell you it is not very good and sometimes scary to know/hear.

I think many Malaysians should aware of the standard of works in Malaysia where it is an open secret that corruption is rampant in this industry. Things can be ’settled’, what you built on site can be tweaked to suit your pockets and gullible clueless buyers will never find out. Things are built without exactly following the specifications and drawings, the list goes on and on. I had a gathering with bunch of friends last Saturday (my coursemates) and we talked about this and from the feedbacks, Malaysians are really lucky considering our structures are not really put to test :) So the con-men can sleep soundly at night, counting the money they stolen from the people. Yes, we laughed about it. Ha! Ha! Ha! When you still can laugh about it.. why not?

Then we have political surprises like Tun Mahathir quiting Umno. Umno is going to self destruct anyway, (playing Mission Impossible self destruct message..) so we shall let them shoot themselves to death and we watch from afar. Mahathir is not the first ex-president of Umno to quit Umno. As we are all aware, Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tun Hussein Onn both died as non-Umno members. Only Tun Razak I think was still a member of Umno when he died. So, to some extent, it is quite a trend for ex-Umno presidents to quit Umno for one reason or another.

I extremely disappointed with TDM for what he said in Johor. Malaysians are sick and tired of race-based politics and we need to move on to people-based politics

Yes, many respect the old man. I respect him, personally. Then again, I think we should not be blind to what he did to this country, we paid a heavy price for the ‘developments’ he brought to Malaysia. This lady said it best, I quoted from Malaysiakini:

Dian Abdullah: Dr M, you have brought many developments to this country which I believe will give you a prominent place in the history of Malaysia. But I would like to point out along the way, you have forgotten the people who helped you to rule this country for 22 years. That’s right - we the people, citizens, all born here. You instigated racial disharmony and widened the gap for inter-religion understanding. You created an elite of corrupted and arrogant group that brought injustice to our everyday lives which have affected us greatly.

You belittled us and the sultans in whatever way possible to satisfy your lust for power and money. You controlled us like slaves and the voiceless without any rights to our freedom of speech and actions. Your actions also provoked Bapa Merdeka and Hussein Onn to resign and die outside Umno.

Now you have to lower yourself to accept your karma. There is absolutely no way you can enter Umno again. These monsters you created are the very same ones you moulded and placed in power. Now they are returning your kind deeds. If you can remember, when Bapa Merdeka and Hussein Onn resigned, Umno did not blink much. So who do you think you are that you can bring Umno down? Umno will cease to exist only when the middle and lower-class people decide enough is enough. Najib will be the last straw because that is his destiny.

So before anyone of you remind me of how many towers he built, how many race tracks, airports, how long, how tall, how big things he built please remember that

1. He used ISA like toilet paper when he’s in power.

2. He stifled the voice of educated masses. Remember AUKU? Aku Janji crap? Operasi Lalang?

3. He coined the Ketuanan Melayu crap. He made the Malays believe that who believed that the whole world was against the Malay race. Is there such a thing? He did no good to the race relations. He is solely responsible for making Umno a racist, bigoted party it is now.

4. He is a racist mustard. Now he is doing it again. His remarks in Johor on Saturday that Malays stood to lose much in the new political environment where non-Malays were unafraid to make demands. Dr Mahathir told the crowd of some 1,000 in Johor Baru that if Malays keep quiet they will lose their rights and other races will take over. What he is trying to do? What happened to his Bangsa Malaysia and Vision 2020 crap? It is utterly irresponsible for him to make those racist statement in Johor and once again, this is the kind of rhetoric Malaysians of all creed and color voted against in the last general elections.

5. He manipulated the judiciary, now proven by the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Lingam tape. He himself mentioned the judges lobbied for positions. Isn’t that illegal?

6. The list is long!!

So, just because he’s trying to portray himself as a hero now, please do not be so gullible to trust the old man. He is too smart, shrewd and cunning to do things selflessly. Sit back and think, what he will gain by doing all this shits. There’s more to this than meets the eye. I am not telling

ps: Karma is a funny thing. It has its way to get back at you. Be very careful. Karma is a bitch. Definitely.

pss: I love this song very much. I want to make love in the club. Anyone? :XO: :XO:
