1) 5 bad habits when you were in your school days
* Reading comics in class, especially during Moral and BM classes. How to do it without getting caught? Put your comics in the desk, sit with your back rested on the chair, slightly away from the table and don’t sit straight. Sit like a lazy bum without backbone haha! Then, don’t get too absorbed in your reading, do it casually so the teacher will not notice 
I never get caught meh!
* Woke up late, missed my breakfast at the dining hall. (Bad habit, because until today I seldom take breakfast and I am okay with that) Then, late to class, always ended up standing in middle of the field while other students were standing in front of their class when the national and state anthem were playing. Kinda embarrassing when everybody can see you standing at the field from their class, but after a while I got used to it because I had some buddies to join me on the field hehe.. always those same faces.. late risers.

It is still not too late for me to say Happy Merdeka Malaysians! Well East Malaysians technically had their independence on September 16th, 1963 so let’s keep this Merdeka mood until September 16th yeah? Everybody happy with the arrangement? Not forgetting, to all my Muslim friends that started fasting since yesterday and going to do so for the rest of the month of Ramadhan - Selamat menjalankan ibadah puasa Ramadhan.
I was back in my hometown - Sarikei for the Merdeka weekends. I drove back to Sarikei on Saturday morning. A 6-hour journey, stopping twice, at Serian and Lachau. (Not Lanchau lah!) The next day I made a quick trip by bus to Sibu for another makan-makan gathering. Ehem, I attended few bloggers meets and the main agenda is always about food, so naturally after few meetings, yours truly received comments like “For some reasons he looked ‘well-fed‘ in this photo“.

Life is a roller coaster. Life is a box of chocolates. Life is full of surprises. You never know what you’re gonna get.
What a rainbow of emotions I was having for the past 2 days. On Monday, a good friend from Johor called me. Her father just passed away, 2 weeks ago. I used to work for her father, doing part time when I was studying in UTM Skudai. Early of this month, she lost her unborn baby in pregnancy. She was at her 34th week of pregnancy, it was just a matter of 1-2 weeks or days more for her to expect her newborn baby. I was lost for words trying to comfort her. Anything that I wanted to say would seem so insufficient and insignificant.

First and foremost, congratulation to Lee Chong Wei for bringing back a silver medal for Malaysia! You did us proud.
Fighting world’s number one, Lin Dan at his homeground - China and at the game - Olympics hosted first time by China is definitely not a walk in the park. Lin Dan definitely was in his best moment, too powerful for anyone to take him on last night. Lin Dan deserved his goal medal, he was super quick, reactive and he played with such great confidence boosted by the amazing home crowd. Lee Chong did his best and Malaysians are proud of him. I know I am. Noktah Hitam as well. Melbie too.

The pantun is a Malay poetic form. The pantun originated as a traditional oral form of expression. The first examples to be recorded appear in the 15th century in the Malay Annals and the Hikayat Hang Tuah. The most common theme is love.

I love pantun and puisi very much. I joined pantun competitions among classes and I wrote ‘puisi’ (poetry) to be submitted when there were poem writing competitions my secondary school time I won once for the poem writing competition but I am not going to tell you what I wrote hahaha!
