These are our leaders. Bunch of morons. Nincompoops.
In Penang, Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said Anwar should have cooperated and undergone a DNA test.
He said it was normal for the police to seek DNA tests from suspects involved in rape and sodomy cases.
“As a responsible citizen, Anwar should have cooperated with the police.
“Nobody is above the law.”
I say :What THE FARK are you talking about?? Do you know the law well? If not I suggest to you just keep your smelly mouth shut. Do you aware that our law cannot compel or force anybody to give their blood samples? Yes, so much about ‘nobody is above the law’. Dumbass!
KUALA LUMPUR: Police decided to be “flexible” and released Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on bail although the offence was a non-bailable case.
I say: Crap. Most offence are bailable including sodomy, only murder is a non-bailable. Flexible my foot.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said the police had yet to formally charge him with any crime.
I say: If there is no charge, why the police lock him up?? This is unlawful detention! Where is the police report?? You think Malaysians are dumb like you? For RM2 you can go to any police station and get a copy of the police report. No police report, no formal charge, why the need to detain him? No police report by itself tell the whole world there is no transparency, fabrication of the report is very possible.
“This issue with Anwar has been played up in the international arena and there have been various accusations flung at our Government. He’s done very well in ‘political play’.
I say: Syed Hamid should just resign for causing massive jam and wasting citizen’s money based on his gathered ‘intelligence’. Pak Lah should sack him because when people try to follow his wise advance to change their lifestyle, Syed Hamid Albar instead made their life miserable lifestyle, wasting their hard earned money on petrol stuck in the jam.
Heck if they treat Anwar case just like any other citizen case, following the standard procedures, nobody would ‘play’ the issue up in the international arena. Who sensationalised the issue when 15 police patrol cars with special squad wearing balaclavaswere sent to arrest Anwar?
I shall dedicate this song to our beloved ministers, for THEY = PEOPLE = SHIT
At this time, there was still confusion on whether Anwar was actually picked up or arrested by police but Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wan Farid Wan Salleh characterised Anwar’s sudden incarceration as an “arrest”, one which the government defended on the basis that Anwar would had “failed to meet the 2pm deadline set by police”.
In his rendezvous with reporters at the Parliament lobby, Wan Farid elucidated why Anwar would have failed to meet the 2pm deadline: “Upon the completion of his interview with the ACA, Anwar was supposed to head to the city’s police headquarters to have his statement taken regarding a sodomy report lodged by a former aide. However, he was heading home, so he couldn’t possibly have made it on time (for the interview with the police). The police were just executing a warrant of arrest against Anwar.”
Wan Farid was adamantly in full retort mode when reporters asked why police could not wait until 2pm before executing the arrest: “What’s the difference between 20 and 50 minutes? From the information I received, he voluntarily went to the police car and gave his full cooperation.”
Obviously we have bunch of nincompoops running the show. Hell, if Anwar really want to make a run for his life, let him be. LET HIM RUN and YOU ANNOUNCE it to the world, that would surely dent his credibility and a SURE SIGN of a guilty man! You then can send your UTK, SWAT, RELA, dogs, mat rempits or what ever resources you have to bomb his house and do what you want when the deadline is over, but you CAN’T arrest him as he is a WANTED TERRORIST!!
Your reasons for arresting him before the deadline with such force just unacceptable. He is an old man, 61 years old with a bad back, you think where he wants to run? What he has to gain from running? Fine. The more mistakes by the stupid government, the more people see for themselves what kind of government they are having now. The day will come.
Anwar arrested outside his house
Jul 16, 08 1:16pm
Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was arrested by the police just outside his home in Bukit Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, at 12.55pm today.
The de facto PKR leader was on his way back to his house after being questioned by the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA).
A team of police officers were waiting, according to lawyer R Sivarasa.
Anwar was driven away in a 4WD vehicle with tinted windows, escorted by a convoy of 15 patrol cars. They arrived at Kuala Lumpur police headquarters at 1.11pm.
It is believed that members of a special team from the serious crime division - sporting balaclavas and leather jackets - were also involved in the operation.
At 1.40pm, about 200 supporters and opposition parliamentarians were assembled outside the building. Among them is DAP leader Karpal Singh.
Anwar was to have met the police by 2pm to be questioned over the complaint of sodomy against him by a former aide, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
According to media reports today, a warrant of arrest had already been obtained, to be used in the event of a no-show.
Anwar’s wife and PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail confirmed the arrest.
She told reporters in parliament that she had received a call from Anwar and that he had complained of rough treatment by the arresting officers.
“I received a call from my husband that the police picked him up just before he reached the house,” she said.
“I didn’t have time to ask whether there was a warrant… He’s on the way - this is my guess - to the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters, where he was supposed to report at 2pm.”
Anwar also told her to return to their home first in order to calm their children and come to the police headquarters later.
“I’m apprehensive because my husband – it’s been 10 years down the road. He is not well, he has a bad back for which he has (undergone) surgery,” said Azizah, who appeared visibly distraughted and numbed by the news.
“From the brief conversation, he said that they (the police) were not gentle.”
It is learnt that Anwar is to be charged under Section 377C of the Penal Code which relates to ‘carnal intercourse against the order of nature’.
A recent amendment to the provision reads: ‘Any person who has sexual connection with another person by the introduction of any object into the vagina or anus of the other person shall be punished with imprisonment or a term which may extend to 20 years and shall also be liable to whipping.’
A number of the parliamentarians and Anwar’s family members are allowed into the IPK building while journalists are confined in the carpark.
A small team of police light-strike force, accompanied by a water-cannon truck, is keeping a watchful eye on supporters who are milling outside the IPK compound.
According to PKR MP Wee Choo Keong, who is inside the IPK building, Wan Azizah and her two daughters - Nurul Izzah and Nurul Nuha - are able to see Anwar on the 7th floor at about 2pm.
Who says our police force is not efficient? They sent a special squad, a commando team to arrest a 61 years old man with a bad back!! That is how efficient they are!!! I wish they are that efficient as well at solving real crimes - murders, snatch thefts, rapes, burglaries..
Only in Malaysia, a suspect in sodomy case is treated like a terrorist! I am so sick of this crap.
Update 2:Noktah Hitam posted the videos of the debate on his blog. Please check it out. I post part 1 of 5 as a teaser for everyone Check out these bloggers for their comments on the debate: chanlilian.net, KNizam, RockyBru and more blogs here.
ps: I just realised I spelled his name wrongly.. it should be Cheek instead of Chik, so amended the boo boo. Uh, there’s really a name ‘Cheek’ after all. Very cheeky..
Update 1: Astro Awani is carrying out the analysis on the debate. Very interesting. As usual they called up some ministers from both sides - Pakatan Rakyat and BN to get their comments on the debate. BN ministers never fail to amuse me, it is damn obvious the Information Minister has nothing, zilch facts when debating but still arrogantly said ‘Anwar Ibrahim has no facts, only rethorics’. Ha! Ha! Ha! You be the judge, please watch the debate video when it is out in the internet. I believe a video with complete subtitle will be out soon. Stay tune for that
My lousy 2 cents on Shabery Cheek vs Anwar Ibrahim debate on Fuel Price just now. (9pm - 10pm Astro Awani and TV9 - Hari Ini Bentuk Kerajaan, Esok Turun Harga Minyak - Today Form Government, Tomorrow Reduce Fuel Price)
Shabery Cheek obviously a lousy debater. He was often beating around the bushes and not to the points or questions raised. He was too emotional in making his points and focused too much on attacking Anwar Ibrahim’s past rather than debunking the points raised by him.
1. When talking about why Anwar insists to pursue his ambition to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia in order to reduce the fuel price and why can’t it be done with him outside the government.
Anwar chuckled and said that was why he was there for the debate and added that he is currently not in the govennment and his future is still uncertain but he felt compelled to make his points in this debate. Anwar openly said he and Pakatan Rakyat has no problem if the current government take into consideration his idea and implements it for the good of the people, and Pakatan Rakyat will support the good move and work with the government. The only question is whether the current government is willing to work with this idea? Will BN/UMNO listen and carry it out.
Shabery Cheek, while he supposed to answer that question (we would think an honest and good government that put the people’s interest will surely consider any good idea that will benefit the people), instead attacked Anwar - relating his past with Tun Razak and Mahathir and went on his ’syok sendiri’ (self ego masturbation) mode on how Petronas under BN/UMNO rule is the best, how people can never deny that it is BN that efficiently manages the petroleum company. Typical BN/UMNO ’syok sendiri’ and out of reality talk. How ridiculous!
2. Anwar explained in simple term how savings can be done from revising the lop sided agreements between the government/TNB and Independent Power Providers (IPPs), savings from corruption and wastages, then lastly using some profits from the increased revenue of Petronas to help reduce the burden of the people. His point is actually very simple - we need a good, wise and prudent management of government resources and efficient econonomy planning. He was entirely right when he focused his point on poor management of the country resources and wastages and trained his gun on the real cause of this whole issue - the government! The main issue is accountability and transparency of the government! Not Petronas, unlike the clueless Information Minister keep harping on!
But Shabery Cheek keep harping on why we should not use Petronas money to reduce the fuel price, comparing Venezuela, Iran and Saudi Arabia low fuel price but high inflation rate!! The guy just totally disillusioned and like I said was in his own ’syok sendiri’ mode. To the point bro, Anwar already made a concrete stand when he said he supports Petronas and will not irresponsibly use Petronas as cash cow to solve the problem. As usual, Shabery just continued the often repeated, recycled points used by the government to justify the fuel price increase - it is a global issue, it is global issue, it is a global issue and it is a global issue. Yes that is all his points. Oh he had more points, mostly points on Anwar’s past, keep digging the dirts. Typical BN style, always resort to personal attacks when you are out of ideas. Any BN guys that can debate rationally?? Please?? Or their supporters???
3. Nordin Kardi, being a Vice Chancellor of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) just made a fool of himself when he questioned Anwar’s points on IPPs agreement revision when the topic was on fuel. Then he mentioned something on why Anwar chose to talk on fuel price, saying he was fishing for popularity. Hey you dumbass maggot, IPPs are subsidized by the government to produce electricity lah!!! They get subsidized diesel to produce electricity and sell it at high price to TNB as agreed in the lop sided agreements signed during Mahathir time. Then this is a debate on fuel price, hence we talked about the price lah!!! Bodoh!! Dungu! Otak kat lutut ke?? Entah macam mana ko boleh jadi Naib Chanselor UUM. Muahahahahahahahaha!
4. It is quite obvious who is the better debater, one that consistently making personal attacks and dishing out many often irrelevant, confusing and meaningless points and another one that kept his cool and explained in clear flow his proposal and future planning if he is given the chance to efficiently manage the country and subsequently reduce the fuel price. Shabery started his debate with personal attacks against Anwar where he brought up the incident when Anwar was still a student leader leading demo against Tun Razak in 1974, in the middle of the debate again brought up the incident, mentioned something about IMF and dragged Anwar’s name in it and lastly concluded his debate again with personal attacks on Anwar Ibrahim and sempat this fella said the government was being generous in allowing the debate. Bah! What a sore loser???
All said, I must commend BN government under Pak Lah for allowing this debate to be carried out. Under the rule of Mahathir this debate is almost impossible to realised. It is a start. We must have an open policy on politics, let the people make their noise heard and decide for themselves what is right and what is wrong, what is true and what is false. Our political landscape is changing and it is for better, I hope.
ps: I was distracted and quite disturbed by the foaming mouth of Shabery Cheek. For a while I thought he would passed out, foaming fatally because he probably realised he was making no sense in any of his points. So distracting.
KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has reiterated that he had neither met nor known Altantuya Shaariibuu.
“The statutory declaration, which I consider a horrible lie, a mere fabrication with malicious intention and slanderous element is aimed at smearing my image,” he told a packed press conference held at about 7pm at his office in Parliament Building here yesterday.
Najib said the statutory declaration by private investigator P. Balasubramaniam was a “red herring” by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to divert public attention from the sodomy allegation against the PKR adviser.
“I am very sure that this is a very desperate attempt to divert attention from the sodomy allegation that Anwar is facing now.
“What is important now is not the matter raised as a diversion, (or as a) red herring. … What people want to know is whether the sodomy case happened or not. I hope the relevant authorities will investigate and make an announcement as soon as possible,” he said.
On the statutory declaration, Najib said as it contradicted the testimonies in court and also the police report, he would leave it to the authorities to investigate fully, but stressed that he also had rights as a citizen to defend himself.
“I can take personal action, but what is more important is that action can be taken because there are provisions of the law like defamation and so forth,” he added.
Najib also denied that he had had a sexual relationship with Altantuya, nor did he conspire to cover up her murder as alleged by Balasubramaniam.
“No, absolutely not, because I have never ever met her,” he said
Asked whether he was willing to be investigated, he said: “Why should I be investigated? Give me a good reason. The police have investigated the entire Altantuya case, so they know everything.
“The parties responsible (for the statutory declaration) should be prepared to accept any consequences if the authorities uncover any legal wrongdoing.”
Najib questioned why the matter had to come up now after Anwar was recently accused of sodomy.
“Now, suddenly everyone is under attack, the Inspector-General of Police, the Attorney-General, even I am attacked.
“Why now? This is the question,” he added.
“If he (Anwar) was so concerned about the case he should have brought it up much, much earlier. Why now?” he added.
Asked whether the latest accusations would affect him during the coming Umno elections, Najib said it would not.
“I’m very relaxed about it. As you can see I’m still smiling. I’m not worried at all because the truth will prevail,” he added.
Najib said he believed in the (justice) system and stressed that he had not done anything wrong.
“There’s nothing to be worried about. Life goes on as usual. As far as I’m concerned, it’s business as usual,” he added.
It is funny when he is in the soup, he cried ‘Wolf! Wolf!’ but when Anwar is in the soup, he cried ‘Police! Police!’.
To borrow the words from the horse’s mouth:
1. “The statutory declaration, which I consider a horrible lie, a mere fabrication with malicious intention and slanderous element is aimed at smearing my image,”
- Anwar may say “The sodomy allegation and the police report by Saiful Bukhari, which I consider a horrible lie, a mere fabrication with malicious intention and slanderous element is aimed at smearing my image”
- Hmm.. the sodomy allegation by Anwar’s ’special aide’ Saiful Bukhari was a ‘red herring’ by ’some people’ to divert public attention from the Statutory Declaration (SD) made by Raja Petra Kamarudin against the DPM’s wife. A desperate attempt to divert public attention from the SD.
3. “What is important now is not the matter raised as a diversion, (or as a) red herring. … What people want to know is whether the sodomy case happened or not.
- What is important now is not the matter raised as a diversion, (or as a) red herring… What people want to know it whether the SD by RPK has any truth or not. Hey, why he thinks the SD by RPK is not important? Or SD by Balasubramaniam is not important?
We also want to know whether Najib and his wife was involved in the murder of Altantuya. We also want to know the truth. We want things mentioned in the SD to be investigated, well to clear our beloved DPM’s name and charge the bloody person that made the false SD, send them to jail for making a false declaration and lie to public.
It is more important because Najib currently is our Deputy Prime Minister while Anwar Ibrahim is a nobody now. He is not in the government, he is not a minister, he is not a member of parliament, he is not even paid by the rakyat to serve them.
4. “I can take personal action, but what is more important is that action can be taken because there are provisions of the law like defamation and so forth,“
This is very funny. IF you are damn sure it (the SD) is a lie, malicious and slanderous fabrication, you should be fast to say you are going to sue without any hesitation. Say it.. “I will fucking sue P Balasubramaniam and Anwar Ibrahim for making false allegation and defaming me. I will bring this to court and sue them till they drop to their pants.” Or make a police report against them. I don’t know if a person make a SD, can you make a police report against that SD. Me no lawyer. What ever, but point is, he should say ‘Yes I will take personal action, not I can take personal action.. “ because it sounds wrong.. I can take.. WTF!
5. “Why should I be investigated? Give me a good reason. The police have investigated the entire Altantuya case, so they know everything.
“The parties responsible (for the statutory declaration) should be prepared to accept any consequences if the authorities uncover any legal wrongdoing.”
Why should you be investigated?? Oh crap. Because you are named in a Statutory Declaration, tolol! SD is a serious shit.
SD has been defined as “A statutory declaration is a legal document defined under the law of certain Commonwealth nations. It is similar to a statement made under oath, however, it is not sworn.
Statutory declarations are commonly used to allow a person to affirm something to be true for the purposes of satisfying some legal requirement or regulation when no other evidence is available. They are thus similar to affidavits (which are made on oath).”
Intentionally making a false statement as a statutory declaration is a crime equivalent to perjury, and punishable by fines and/or a prison sentence of up to 4 years. (Australia)
Sure the parties responsible for the statutory declaration should know better about the consequences they may face should the authorities uncover any legal wrongdoing. They wil go to jail for making a false declaration.
1. Lately, we see people making SD like nobody’s business, it sure gives us an image that SD is conveniently abused like a toilet paper, recklessly using it for their sordid political mileage.
2. A lot of things mentioned in the SD still just ‘hearsay’ and from ‘reliable sources’. There are still a lot to prove. Hey I want to make a SD based on my ‘reliable sources’ too. Just RM4.00 can make one
3. A certain politician is laughing and probably busy eating his popcorn with coke enjoying the mud-slinging show between his biggest rivals. He is having a big feast!
4. Conveniently, the run up of UMNO branch meetings begin in two weeks, the UMNO election is coming soon and Anwar has 2 more months to deliver his promise - 16 September 2008.
5. If you recall correctly, when another witness mentioned Najib’s name in court, the entire prosecution and defense team got their knickers in a knot, and the judge expunged the statement from the court record. The latest SD sure interesting.
6. Najib is not making any sense with his funny explanations on Saiful Bukhari, the sodomy ‘victim’.
First he said he met Saiful Bukhari 3 months ago about scholarship (Wait.. the guy met with DPM or his special assistant, Khairil Anas? Damn I am confused.) Now he said he met Saiful Bukhari few days before polis report and Saiful even TOLD HIM that he was sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim. .. Which one is true?
Najib said he then told Saiful that it was up to him if he wanted to lodge a police report against Anwar.
“I said to him ‘It’s up to you.’ I left it to him to decide whether he wanted to leave it to the police to investigate and carry out the next course of action
What?? Sodomy is a serious crime. He should have said “You should make a police report if this is true”. How funny of all people, this Saiful Bukhari went to see him. Of 26 million Malaysians!! How wonderful. Why not go to Michael Chong? Why go to Najib??
Why this nobody, college dropout and an assistant to opposition leader, Saiful, end up in our DPM’s private residence over a weekend to express his emotional trauma from the alleged sodomy episode he had with Anwar Ibrahim? I didn’t know there was a open house at DPM’s over the weekend?! Oh… open house that only one person was invited.
Usah khuatir sekiranya anda mangsa liwat. Jumpa Datuk N.
7. It is your words against mine drama now. Who is telling the truth??? It is for you to decide.
Latest Update:
PI Balasubramaniam retracts parts of his Statutory Declaration. (updated)
PI retracts declaration
KUALA LUMPUR: Political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda’s private investigator P. Balasubramaniam on Friday retracted his statutory declaration which he made less than 24 hours ago.
“I wish to retract the entire contents of my statuutory declaration dated July 1 2008. I was compelled to affirm the said statutory declaration under duress,” said Balasubramaniam in his new statutory declaration dated Friday.
The new statutory declaration states:
“I wish to expressly state that at no material time did (Abdul) Razak (Abdullah) Baginda inform me that he was introduced to Altantuya Shaaribu by a VIP and at no material time did Razak Baginda inform me that Datuk Seri Najib (Tun Razak) had a sexual relationship with Altantuya Shaaribu and that she was susceptible to anal intercourse.
“At no material time did Razak Baginda inform me that Datuk Seri Najib instructed Razak Baginda to look after Altantuya Shaaribu as he did not want her to harass him since he was the Deputy Prime Minister.”
Not only do we have flip flop leaders… we also have flip flop PIs… WTF!! Charge the bugger for treating SD like a toilet paper. Hell, we don’t even recycle our toilet paper. Under duress my foot!
When Pak Lah said the government has nothing to do with the latest sodomy accusation against Anwar Ibrahim, what he is trying to tell us exactly??
You must know this man. He is not able to say thing as it is.. He is the master of cryptic, his words are more ambiguous, full of hidden and mystifying meanings than Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code. This is one damn talented guy we are talking about here. You constantly need to crack your head to figure out what exactly he is saying. Most of the time, he is making no sense, so do not worry or disheartened if you cannot understand him. Sure, you can always call him a pathological liar, if you have diamond encrusted balls..
At first it is hard to read him. After a while, you will see the pattern. You will get better by experience..
I am not very sure what exactly he is saying.. especially when he said unnecessary thing like this:
“I believe even my friends like (Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri) Najib (Tun Razak) did not … PM: BN not behind latest sodomy allegation against Anwar ..
“The government has no intention of wanting to make life difficult for him or to harass him,”
Don’t you think it is funny when he said those things? Especially on Najib, how the government never instruct the police to take any action against Anwar and has no intention of wanting to make life difficult for him. Why the need to explain so much when so little questions were asked? Yes I watched the interview on TV3 just now.
Why he needs to say so many things? OMAIZGOAT!! He is trying to say something but as usual he doesn’t know how to put it.. It is a cipher and you need to decode it, like always. It takes a very smart man to do things like him. Yes, he has problems putting things as there are. You do not believe me? Let’s see:
1. When he said the news about him going to re-marry was just a baseless rumour, it actually meant the news was true. Yes he re-marry soon after that.
2. When he said the election would not be held on the next day, it actually meant the election would take place next day. Yes, it happened that way.
3. When he said BN still received many supports from Malaysians, well.. you know. It’s obvious what the GE 2008 tells you.
4. When he said there would be no fuel increase until August, he raised the fuel price on the next day by 40%.
There are more, but I think you pretty much get the idea, right? Come on, you are not that badawee are you?? I trust my readers to be at least as smart as our genius, respected PM. Now I shall leave you to decipher these cryptic words:
Earlier Sunday, Current Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi reiterated that the Barisan Nasional Government was not behind the latest allegation of sodomy against Anwar.
Stating that he was shocked on hearing the police report lodged by an aide of Anwar on Saturday night, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said he would leave the police to conduct investigations on the allegations and to take the necessary action.
He said he or the Government did not instruct the police to take any action.
On Anwar’s statement that the allegations were a complete fabrication to kill his political career, as in 1998 when he was sacked as Deputy Prime Minister, Abdullah said the Government had nothing to do with the police report.
“We are not (involved). Umno and Barisan Nasional did not plan to trouble, disturb or accuse him.
“I believe even my friends like (Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri) Najib (Tun Razak) did not have any intention to do such a thing to him,” he told reporters here on Sunday after launching the Bumi Hijau programme.
Abdullah said the alleged victim has the right to lodge a police report if it had really happened.
When asked if Anwar would be arrested following the latest allegation, Abdullah said he did not want to speculate on the matter and would leave the matter to the police.
There is no need to thank me. Just buy me a teh tarik kurang manis.
