A beautiful wound

“It was necessary to have a scar in this life that would be carried with you, and would prepare you, for the next. It is called a beautiful wound.”

I was thinking of some words or phrases to be inked on my useless body. End up reading on Latin quotes, Hebrew and Sanskrit texts.. and oogling at hot chicks photos  :XO: :XO:

Some of the photos and quotes that I found..

“Send blessings upon the works of our hands” in Hebrew :XO: I do not mind working my hands there either

Equilibrium (Er.. nice photo heh? :XO:)

To the stars through adversity in Latin

Angelina Jolie’s Pali incantation tattoo is written in the Khmer language.

Closer look :XO:

For the girls, nah!! Script from Psalm 144: 1 - A Psalm of David. Blessed be the Lord, my rock.

I wonder if Bahasa Melayu or any ethnic language in Malaysia is popular enough to be inked on the body. So far I yet to see anybody do that haha! Imagine walking around seeing “Tak Melayu hilang di dunia!’ Opss.. in Malaysia, Melayu = Islam so tattoo is forbidden for them. Still we as Malaysians, those do not have any religious restriction can do it. Let me see, what are the famous quotes in Bahasa Melayu that I can remember:

Saya pantang dicabar! - 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia :???:

Jangan hisap dada! - Samyvellu (He meant dadah - drug  )

Kami bukan along, kami cuma nak tolong - I saw one funny advertisement on tv

Macam-macam ada! - Infamous Astro tagline.

Or maybe we can have some in Hokkien??

Ee chiak lu, lu pun um chai - Lim Keng Yaik

Eh, this is supposed to be a serious entry!!!! Totally butchered, end up a post on stupid quotes haha! Pardon me for the distractions

Back to serious topic  Some other Latin quotes..

Omnia mea mecum porto - All that is mine, I carry with me.

Cogito ergo sum - I think, Therefore I am

Nosce te ipsum - Know thyself.

Sit vis vobiscum - May the Force be with you. (I love this lol!!!)

Alis grave nil - Nothing is heavy to those who have wings

Ad astra per aspera means - To the stars, through difficulties

Semper ad meliora — Always towards better things

Luctor et emergo — I struggle and emerge

Verba volant, scripta manent - Words fly away, writings remain

Veritas lux mea - Truth is my light

ps: Probably should just get ‘Carpe scrotum’ - Seize/grab life by the balls!
