Rape Me! Because I wear a ‘sexy’ school uniform..

I am extremely furious reading this piece of shit today.

School uniform sexy, says group

KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian group condemned the uniform worn by girls at government schools, saying it encouraged rape and pre-marital sex.

“The white blouse is too transparent for girls and it becomes a source of attraction,” National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia vice-president Munirah Bahari said in a statement.

“It becomes a distraction to men, who are drawn to it, whether or not they like looking at it,” she said, calling for a review of uniform policy so that it did not violate Islamic ideals.

In multicultural Malaysia, home to majority-Muslim Malays as well as ethnic Chinese and Indians, female students at government schools have a choice of wearing a white blouse with a knee-length skirt or pinafore.

They may also wear a “baju kurung” and a headscarf is optional for Malay students.

Munirah said that “covering up” according to Islamic precepts was important to fend off social ills, including “rape, sexual harassment and even premarital sex.”

“This leads to babies born out of wedlock and, to an extent, even prostitution,” she said.

“Decent clothes which are not revealing can prevent and protect women from any untoward situations,” she said, suggesting that girls wear a blouse of a different colour or with an undergarment.

However, the girls themselves also came in for criticism, with the association saying that some used the white blouse to lure men.

“This is the source of the problem, where we can see that schoolgirls themselves are capable of using this to attract men to them,” Munirah said.

“This could see them getting molested, having premarital sex and all sorts of things.” – AFP

What a joke! Why they always put the blame of crime on the victim? It is damn demeaning to tell the women to dress up ‘properly’ to fend off ‘social ills’ and it is more insulting to suggest that men will screw anything that is remotely less ‘covered up’.

We had clad up, tudung girl raped in the past. Remember Noor Suzaily Mokhtar? She was wearing burqah/hijab for god’s sake at that time of unfortunate incident!! How a woman covered up from head to toe supposedly ‘prevent her from any untoward incidents’ now? Tell me.

Then let me ask, how does little girls, some yet to reach puberty became victims of rape? How these little girls can be a sexual desire for men? Remember 10 years old Nurul Huda Ghani and Hasirawati Saridi? Remember 8 years old Ang May Hong? Remember 8 years old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin which her body was found sexually violated dumped in a bag? What about those incest cases? Hey, most of the victims of rape in Malaysia were below 15 years old!! Here, listen to it from the horse’s mouth:

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: The number of reported rape and incest cases in Malaysia has nearly doubled over the past six years, and thousands of wives are living in fear because of domestic violence, a government minister said.

“The statistics show a rising trend,” Women, Family and Community Development Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil told a conference on ending violence against women, according to a text of her speech seen Friday.

The number of incest cases climbed from 213 in 2000 to 332 in 2006, while reported rape cases jumped from 1,217 in 2000 to 2,341 last year, Shahrizat said at the forum Thursday.

“What is depressing is that most of the victims were below 15 years of age,” Shahrizat said. “In the incest cases … people such as the fathers, stepfathers, uncles and brothers are the victimizers, even though they should have been the ones to protect and cherish the victims.

So again, does that proves rape has anything to do with ‘decently clothed’? How ‘decently clothed’ those little girls should be?

In the first place, any individual that preys on school girls, which most of them still underage, wearing their school uniform is SICK!!! So, it has nothing to do with the girls wearing ‘too transparent white blouse’ or ‘not so decent uniform’. Period.

RAPE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH AGE, HOW YOU DRESS, WHAT YOU WEAR AND IT DEFINITELY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VICTIM!! NOBODY SHOULD SAY SHE ASKED FOR IT, DAMN IT!

Are they even aware that they are many ‘decently clothed’ women screwing around, letting their other halves to record videos of their ‘actions’ and posted it online? There are tons of 3gp videos (most common multimedia format for clips or videos recorded using mobile) with tudung girls as the main character in it. Go ask Uncle Google type in ‘tudung 3gp’ and see for yourself. Decently clothed my backside.. again, HOW YOU DRESS UP DO NOT REFLECT YOUR CHARACTER!! A horny goat stills a horny goat when ‘it’ is decently clothed or naked. Tell a prostitute to dress up like a nun will not make her a nun. She probably gets more kinky customers. It is just a false appearance, at its best.

Pre-marital sex? What pre-marital sex has to do with choice of clothing? Aduh..!! I am so sick of these nincompoops living among us. Remember not long ago some assholes suggested the usage of chastity belts to prevent incest? No, the chastity belt is not for men to wear, it is for women, he suggested. (Hmm.. as usual, he said it was a joke went wrong after that)

The group’s suggestion is akin to that we should not drive on the roads because according to the they are many people dying on the roads so the roads are unsafe, we shall stay away?

I think everybody should have the right to do whatever they want, dress however they want anytime they want, and not be at risk- as long as they’re not hurting others. Why the heck your personal choice would be influenced by the action of others? Why should women have to dress up and down in accordance to some state enforced idea of moral decency?

The most important fact here that is missing is purely, EDUCATION! Boys grow up not knowing or understanding a simple word, RESPECT for women. Get that right!

ps: Who TF is this Munirah Bahari? Calls herself National Islamic Student Association leader. Must be some kind of freak cult leader. Meh aku bungkus kau..

pss: Quote of the day by a good friend – ‘IF clothes are the cure-all reason, everyone dah lama sembah almari”

psss: Conspiracy theory of the day by another good friend – “Obviously someone wants the contract for the school uniforms perhaps?”

pssss: Remember girls, do not wear white!

hmmm…rape…hmmm munirah…hmmm… errkk! how old is she anyway!?

    distracting ain’t it? muhuhuhahahahaha

hey i’m a muslim, to a certain extent, i do understand what she means, what she’s trying to promote but then again its as everyones said…(or someone at least)

“why should we throw the water when its the fly’s fault for jumping into it”

hmmm…im not sure of what point i’m trying to make here but bear with me…

the fly is uncontrollably stupid and its action are driven by impulses, it shall try to make its way into the water anyway that it can but what happens when the glass is covered? it may not (keyword) have attracted the fly there in the first place. at least the glasses are doing something rather than nothing(keyword) to hider the flies away.

the way i see it, munirah should be the glass and shes asking all the other glasses to cover themselves but alas she is still a not so bright glass as the way she ask it as if its the glass fault that the fly fall into them in the first place so to me i’ll forgive her not so bright suggestion but i’ll complement her desire to ask other women to do something to prevent this violent crime upon them.

but from what we’ve heard and read from the past till now, very little amount of men (the so called “better being”, the fly on the above example) is doing to prevent this god forsaken crime. maybe just maybe, we do like it to happen, well, we’re the majority gender that shows interest when the word ‘sex’ is discussed, we’re the majority gender which shows interest whenever the word ‘nude’ is being spoken. i do believe that most of us have the urge to seek out the naked photo of our wakil rakyat ms Eli Wong, be it for whatever etc reason, we do show our interest in it. period…and in a not so noble confession, i’d say i’ve seen it (as i said men, in what ever circumstances shall always be men).

thus, here, today, i shall support munirah effort in preventing this crime to occurs and reoccurs.

i hereby suggest that all men, really no kidding, all men should be blind folded during their everyday routines and i urge that our pharmaceuticals company creates a ‘wonder’ pill that possess the opposite characteristic and ability of viagra!

    chek gu! chek gu!

bagus tak cadangan saya cikgu? saya harap cadangan saya sama tahap dengan cadangan cik munirah kita. takut jugak kalo lebih bijak pulak nanti, nanti orang kata saya nak perbodohkan dia pulak chek gu, tak de terniat saya nak buat camtu chek gu, perchaya lah chek gu…

    muhuhuhahahaha

    sekian, wassalam.

    !^_^

the fly and the glass analogy is interesting, but i don’t it is appropriate to be used here. men, however cliche it sounds are generally stronger and supposed to take care of women. abusing that authority is wrong, so there’s no question of women ‘inviting’ men to rape them by dressing provocatively. it’s seriously demeaning to suggest women must dressed up properly to be respected.

munirah’s suggestion is done in good intention, we can tell but it’s the wrong approach. why victimise the victim further.

It’s crazy to blame the girls for wearing the uniforms. People need to have more self control. Most other countries have not problem with the uniforms.

It’s sad to see the uniform and the girls being blamed. It’s not like they are wearing bikini’s. I guess it depends on your interpretation of Islamic law.

Rape has happened to 3 years old toddlers and also 78 years old women in Malaysia, and don’t get me started on international cases.

Therefore it can be concluded the person who thought about this ‘relationship’ between clothes and percentage of becoming a rape victim can go and screw themselves in the ass. Men are beasts. No I did not meant it as a metaphor. At times men can be worse than animals and at times we let our basic instincts control us. No one can deny that, including blaming it on a ‘3rd party’ factor.

Unfortunately, rape is not a crime of attraction, it is a crime of HATE. Rapists do not rape women because they are attracted to them or find them sexy, it is because they allow themselves to be alone with their attackers. In fact attractive women are LESS likely to be raped than unattractive women because they intimidate the rapist. Uniform has nothing to do with rape. What someone thinks about anything says more about that person than anything else. Someone who looks at schoolgirls and says that they are sexy and they should not tempt men is seriously in need of something… oh and Afghanistan has no REPORTED rape cases, slight difference.

first of prevention is better than cure…in ISLAM it theach its followers to cover up their aurat for a purpose…to lessen the risk of unwanted attraction..but in ISLAM the QURAN didnot mention that by covering the aurat they all are prevented from unwanted attraction it just lessen it…Just simple example for u all is like if u walk down a street then u noticed this mercedes benz with a key still in the ignition i think there will be a least one guy who will have intention to take away the car although actually this guy is a nice guy but situation make him become somebody else…and also if a burgular wanted to robbed a house he will choose the more easy one..so on with rape case…ISLAM is the way of LIFE other will BURN in HELL u can call anyone else stupid in the JUDGEMENT DAY u all will suffer and it is endless

@skizzo, prevention is better than cure alright 😉 In this case, do more crime prevention, have better ways to educate men to respect women.

I’m calling them stupid because they’re not making their priorities right. And, I have problems with the reasons given by them ;)Premarital sex? Uniform? With that kind of far fetched posturing, wow.. too many things to worry about then.

Religion is a way of life, it should make your life easier, not complicate it. Ponder on that.

@skizzo, again very childish response you have there. who tf you think you to decide who should go to hel or heaven? were you born during the prophet’s time? if you really want to know the truth, wait for the day when you meet god, and you can ask him 24 hours a day about the truth on religions. all religions are great, but all followers are the same as the followers consist of strengths and weaknesses.

    @Sarawak Laksa,
Your thoughts are very funny. very very funny. I suggest you live in afganisetan or taliban setan for 2 years, then you may come up with factual conclusions. One thing for sure, anything that is closed is more attractive than things which are opened, and all the crimes in afganistan have been sealed like heavenly clothes you wear. afganisetan is the world of many dark secrets.

I must say it’s really disturbing if in this present day life we still have people strongly supporting the idea that it’s excusable for men to rape women because of the way women are dressed up, then honestly all such people need to have their heads checked out and such people are not fit to live in our present society. No form of sexual violence against any woman or girl child in our present day society should be condoned by anybody, government or religion. Any offender which in most cases are men, should have their private organs amputed/taken-off them since their minds are not matured enough to practice self-restraint and respect for women. They can come back for it whenever they become matured enough. Otherwise such men should be put away in prisons far from the society for their entire lifetime.
I’m sorry but it does not make any rational sense that the victims of rape cases are the same time the offenders according to some school of thoughts out there I.e. finding the women guilty of the crime, sentenced to jail, public lashing, forced to marry the rapists (as we’ve seen in some parts of the world), granted “presidential pardon” (this is meant to be a humanitarian gesture which the world should revere and thank them for such), etc??? What on earth is wrong with this world??!!
It is rather shocking that some women in this day and age are advocates of such thoughts and are happy to be at the receiving end of such discomforting ill-proposed solutions rather than standing up to the selfish male-folks to seek proper justice and see to it that the actual offenders (men) are brought to books.

Since my conversion, I have been extra paranoid and fear for my kids being in a community that is full of lust. All said is NEVER practiced. Talk can get money so nobody acts right. Since there is clear stats, clear stories who commits these crime, it is high time RESPONSIBILITY and RESPECT is taught in this community. How on earth can you get excited over children unless you’re a maniac thinking about sex all day. In reality this community is not deprived but have had a wrong definition of desire and control because too much of free time. Instead of working many do seminar and talks even more. If you want to change the dressing, show us a prototype of the uniform or any prototype to suit the issue being address. not talk and get more men from this community to get excited. I also hope JPN will state father’s name in BC for non married couples children so we have real stats for the number of illegitimate acts committed by this community. DNA can prove. So why settle for 4 witness? Nobody fucks in the open. We have building these days not tents
