Parliament Dissolved!

LATEST!!Parliament dissolved, elections on

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has announced that Parliament has been dissolved, paving the way for the 12th general election.

At a hastily convened press conference at his office Wednesday afternoon, he said he had met the Yang Di Pertuan Agong in the morning and received His Majesty’s consent to dissolve Parliament.

“I’ve informed Parliament and the Election Commission,” Abdullah said. The state assemblies have also been advised to dissolve.

The Prime Minister declined to speculate on what date Malaysians would cast their ballots, saying that it would be up to the Election Commission (EC) to decide.

“I am confident of winning, and I hope that we will retain our two-thirds majority,” he said.

The battle begins!

p/s : The sleeping PM had so much cheap fun keeping the public from guessing the election date heh? Yesterday when interviewed, he boldly said ‘Apa? Esok tak ada, banyak lagi mesyuarat kabinet perlu dibuat’ (What? Not tomorrow, still many cabinet meetings to be carried out). Pftt! Cakap tak serupa bikin. What he said yesterday? The Star today reported : ‘Parliament won’t be dissolved today, says PM’. What a great leader!

    so who will u vote for? opposition? who is the calon? why must give the opposition? do they have credibility to become our next government?

    –>it is pretty obvious who i will vote for. calon? doesn’t matter, if a duck stands against BN, i will vote for it, at least it quacks in parliament. anyway, why you ask? πŸ™‚ who is saying opposition is going to be the next government? which part of deny 2/3 majority you don’t understand? do i need to tell you about gerrymandering? educate yourself on that first, please. and then let me know if it is posibble for the opposition to form a government under such disadvantage ya?

    now u already decide who to vote for.. eventho they listed non pro active candidate? will u vote for them? better keep silence rather then banyak cakap …same la u with pak lah … ahahhahaa…

    let say…

    Bn = Dr.X vs Opposition = En. z ( xda education )
    and
    statistic shown that Dr.X credibility > En. Z

    will u vote for En. Z? think first before u vote…

    –> oh? so what? if he got no balls to speak for me because he needs to lick some people balls 1st why should i care about his education? i don’t want an ass kisser, a pak turut, a rubber stamp. how many BN MPs got balls to go against their party if their party is making a wrong decision? πŸ™‚
