Oranje & Crispy Fried Chicken Wings
Bad day. Oranje lose!
Just like Argentina during WC 2006. Very ‘gaya’ during the group stage then ‘pancit’ during the knockoff stage – quarter finals. Frustrating.. after a perfect start, it ended unceremoniously. I must salute the Russkies for their great performance beating Netherland this early morning. Quoting a friend:
“The Russians were attacking relentlessly..Dutch defenders cant cope with their spped..if not for Van Der Sar..the match would be over in 90 minutes..”
Now Euro 2008 is over for me.. I better go make something to eat to cheer myself up ![]()
Crispy Fried Chicken Wings

Preparation:
Cut up chicken wings
1 beaten egg yolk
Salt, seasoning and pepper to taste
Flour
1. Combine flour and seasonings in a bowl.
2. Dip chicken pieces into egg yolk I was lazy so I dumped all the chicken pieces into egg yolk
Then dip the moisten chicken into seasoned flour and fry in hot oil.

Seasoned flour. Ingredients for seasoning? Secret

Fry it in hot oil for 10-15 minutes until well golden browned

Drain off excess oil. You can use paper towels.

Ta daa!!

Crispy.. fattening, unhealthy and yummy!!! *Drools* Place your order now

Bite in~!

I can’t get enough of it… (it = camwhoring? it = chicken?
)

The Aftermath. ![]()
ps: At this rate, I am surpassing STP soon.
He probably needs to give up his nickname
Well, he can use LSTP – Lao Sui Tua Pui or just LTP nyahahahahahahaha!

NSTP ( new STP ),
Yr style is different. i dip in egg white not egg yolk. I have been wrong all these yrs and not know it
[Reply]
bongkersz wrote on Jun 22, 2008 at 9:21 pm
i think both also can. just egg white, yolk or both, to own preference. it is just to moisten the chicken, and to make sure it wont stick to the wok/pan when you fry it. i find egg yolk taste better and the colour of the fried chicken nicer
heck, you can mix beer to the batter hahaha! taste nice man
