My First Time & Parking Summon is a Bloody Scam!

There is a first time for everything.

I had my few first time ‘things’ yesterday, since I came to Miri to work in December.

1. First time getting sick, since I started working in Miri.

Got the full package – sore throat, flu, fever, cough on Friday night. Saturday and Sunday getting worst. I hate to go to the doctor, but I couldn’t take an official leave from work without MC, so yesterday I went to see the doctor.

Psstt.. I only took the medication for flu so far. Argh I hate medicine..

If not because of the need to get MC, I rather stay home and rest. Haha!

The queue at the clinic was damn long. I waited for more than 1 hour. Sigh! Then when I came out, I saw this on the car’s windscreen.

2. First parking summon in Miri

Offence under The Road Transport (Provision of Parking Places) (Miri City Council) Order, 2006:- Artikel 8(1)  Without displaying valid coupon(s)

Parking at my work place is free and most of the time I will stay put at office during the working days, not much travelling around the town so I have not buy any parking coupon since I came to Miri. I only go out at night or during the weekends, when you don’t have to display parking coupon. So I was absent mindedly parked my car like usual and went to the clinic, waited for one and a half hour, came out to see the parking summon.

Damn! I hate parking summon!!! I think it is a scam to earn easy money by the local councils. Why don’t they go and compound other more serious offences? Those errant developers? Hey, now I remember something.

Where the fuck were the council when stupid motorists occupied three quarter of the road in front of SMB Chung Hua near Parkcity Everly Hotel or in front of SMB St Columba, or in front SRB St Joseph? Heck, go to any school compound in Miri during off class period in the afternoon and evening, there are many stupid, retarded parents park their vehicles like they fucking own the road.  They occupy THREE QUARTER of the 3 lanes road!! Go and fucking compound these assholes, for they are causing unnessary traffic jam, blocking the path for other road users!!

Compare to these maggots, at least I parked at the designated area and not blocking anything. I think it is fair only to compound the amount of the parking fees required in the case of not displaying parking coupon. It is not fair and downright extortion to ask people to pay 1000% or more (in KL is a whopping 2500%!!) for that particular offence.

I will be generous, you can compound me extra 100-200%. For an estimated parking fee/coupon of RM2, I should only pay RM4-RM6 ringgit if I have committed that particular offence. Hell no I am going to pay RM50 or RM30!! Fucking rip off!! Rot and die!!!!!!!

ps: I don’t mind paying for traffic offences if I have committed any, which I can be damn sure I am not prone to getting any because I am a good driver. Parking summons are for retards, and I refuse to admit I am one.

pss: Sorry for my jumble of uncouth expletives. Morally constipated society irks me.

psss: I am very sad, with the current state of affairs in this country. Nincompoops should rot and die because of piles, in a pile of poops.

*ffuuhh ffuuhh ffuhhh – blowing at his pc screen* 😛
sabar itu separuh daripada iman geng. rilek la ada ari klak kita duak g makan nasi lalapan yang sambal nya ‘kow-kow’. tok adalah cara sihat lepas geram kat mcc. 😆

anyway, i totally agreed with you on the retarded parents parking their vehicles along the road opposite their children schools. it does not only happened at the mentioned schools in your post above but practically at every schools (be it primary & secondary) in the city itself. it does not only bother us passing by these areas but this situation also can cause someone lives. imagine an ambulance or a ‘bomba’ wanna passing through the congested traffic?? do you think they will give way? 🙄

mcc should seriously looked into this matter. educated those parents for god sake. collaborate with the jpj or the traffic police if necessary.

ps-ehh tetiba aku pulak yang emo. 😆

I still have my parking summon from my last visit to germany. It’s only 5 euro. But dont know where to pay. Plus the car was rented by my principal. I did give them the parking ticket.

The stupid thing about Msia is, we scam parking tickets. Like you said, if ‘kena’ compound RM20-50, people wouldnt mind paying. KL nowadays RM150 (im guessing) by DBKL. Cibai! If you saman me for RM15, and can pay online. I’ll gladly pay. but RM 150 and have to go to DBKL office in town some more, I better hope they offer blow job as well.

    Cut throat. Stupid ass.

    Take care of your kukujiao

There’s always a first time for everything. =)

Since you like to change color, use this tool. VERY VERY NEAT TOOL (at least for a web developer) 😉

Agreed with you. I’ve always told people that if you get the date or time wrong by honest mistake, you get fined – but if you park / wait on a yellow line *seriously* blocking traffic, you actually had more chances to get away from it!

Not to mention that the parking coupons cost twice that of Kuching’s parkign coupons – why?

I had plenty when I was in KL. I stayed at this one condo, and the parking always full, so we parked at the roadside in front of the condo. Problem is, these stupid council enforcers would come EARLY Sunday morning 7-8am, or LATE NIGHT around 12-1am just to issue parking compounds. :vangry: :vangry:

  7. bongkersz wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 10:48 am

Like I said, if extra 200-500% maybe I can consider paying. But it’s so retarded, getting parking summon because you don’t display the parking coupon, or because NO ENOUGH PARKING SPACE provided is an insult.

ps: Cheebuy WordPress. I decided to finally upgrade my blog, and I did yesterday to version 2.7 (latest yesterday). And just now I saw the message ‘WordPress 2.7.1 is available! Please update now.’ :vangry: :vangry: And I hate the threaded comment in WordPress itself, because it cannot spam people’s email hehe.. or can it? Hmm.. go try..

  8. bongkersz wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 10:51 am

Oh thanks dude! Well, that’s the only thing I pandai.. tukar tukar colour.. har har har..

  9. bongkersz wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 10:53 am

Blocking traffic is a greater offence, because it is causing nuisance to other road users, but parking nicely?? So retarded.

Is it? I never buy any parking coupon yet since I came to Miri. Not going to buy any. HAHA!

Thanks for dropping by Ian 🙂

  10. bongkersz wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 10:57 am

Lelapan paling kow at Surabaya no? =P

I emo because those parents are wasting my time on the road. Where are the JPJs and traffic police when we really need them?

Ehe.. since I am going to be in Miri for long, there are plenty of time to ‘teach’ MCC.

  11. LadyBird® wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 11:26 am

nasi lalapan at surabaya oso can or you wanna go back dining at muara instead? me anywhere can do as long as the sambal is ‘kow kow’.

    *sluurppsssssssss-saliva is dripping now* 😛

ajar jangan sik ajar sidak mcc ya. remember my ala-ala reporter approach that i shared with you last time, perhaps we can teach them that way hah?? 😉

Dah salah, dah kena tangkap, diam2 bayar lor!! Tak payah make excuses or find fault. I used to pick my anak after school. What l couldn’t understand was why people not picking anak, even big 4wd and trucks, couldnt use alternative routes during ‘peak’ hours. My anak’s case, l know lah. Girls’ school-si gatal semua want to see pompuan!

  13. kura_kura wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 11:51 am

er..ur ex boss no cari u for his summon? :p

  14. bongkersz wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 11:52 am

I already bayar lah… and I am not making excuses. I am just ranting on the so called ‘fair’ compound rate 😀 This is one salah I cannot accept mah!

I don’t know about Sibu, but here in Miri, there are no other alternative routes during ‘peak hours’ to choose, to stay away from the schools. And, why the need for alternative routes if these parents park considerately? They are at fault 1st, why other people need to accomodate them.

Er.. Sibu pompuan can see one meh? Har har har!!!!!

  15. bongkersz wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 11:54 am

    Ada. Bayar lah juga. 😀

  16. pattirmina wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 12:57 pm

    get well soon!

so how much did u pay for the summon? do u know u can get discounts if u go straight to the office and “talk” to the mmc officers? my mom asked me to go once, and i think i only paid rm15 for it. it was 4 years ago lah, dont know about know.

  17. pattirmina wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 12:58 pm

    ****dont know about now. typo.

  18. bongkersz wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 1:00 pm

I paid RM15, 75% of the compound amount, RM20. Yeap, that’s the maximum discounted rate. Still.. that’s whooping 750% of the parking coupon. :vangry:

  19. |1f34|-|1r3 wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 1:28 pm

they only fine you because you’re on the wanted list you know…many spies around you maybe? haha

oh well…they didn’t summon the motorcycles because they think those guys are mat rempits and they’re not going to pay any… 👿

  20. suituapui wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 2:27 pm

U no see pompuan, u see laki kah? ROTFLMAO!!!

  21. Mr wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 2:53 pm

Don’t pay and they can’t do a damn thing to you.
The ticket is not a signed summons as from the police.
Did you acknowledge and signed for it?
They will be damn stupid to bring you to court over RM 15.00.
    Ignore it.

  22. bongkersz wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 2:58 pm

Are you sure my man? 😀 Accumulate few more parking summons, that will be alot haha! Well, here in Miri one parking summon probably RM20, but in KL/PJ is RM80 or RM100. (Last year). 10 of that is RM1000, they will be more than happy to charge you in court.

But, what you said, make sense. We never acknowledge and sign for it.

  23. atreyu strange wrote on Feb 17, 2009 at 3:08 pm

wow. you’ve got to chill TOO!! huhu.

nway, i agree with Mr. just ignore the ticket if there’s no signature involved.

Agree with you on parking coupons. What are we paying for? It’s not as if the officers are helping to guard our cars from car thieves and scratchers.

    All the farkers.. officer.. relly..

  28. niasing wrote on Oct 10, 2009 at 10:34 pm

So u wud prefer parking areas to install meters to print coupon/tixs .. but exempt people who park correctly inside a box without paying just becos they should look at ur car & think ..”shit he park korek mah, i need to go to school area fast”
Retarded angry attention seeking piece of shit u r. Continue with ur crap, shows who u r.

    bongkersz Reply:

@niasing, read again and TRY to understand what I was saying. And don’t put words in my mouth. Did I say anything about installing meter to print coupon/tickets and exempts people who park correctly? Where did I say it?? Duh!
