Damn pissed. Damn ‘tulan’. Why?
I went to open a bank account just now. This stupid process of opening a bank account took me whole 2 weeks to be done! MyKad chip couldn’t be read, need to do a new MyKad, which took me 1 week to get. So much for government efficiency yeah?
They promised me it would be completed in 3 days, but when I went there (after calling many times the number written on the slip with nobody answering) they told me it was still in process, and pointed at a very small print written on the slip ‘only collect after 10 days bla bla’ (huh, so why told me only 3 days when I asked?) But I must give credit for the officer. She is very kind and even called me on my mobile to collect my card after it was done.
Back to the part where I went to open my bank account. After I came out from the bank, guess what? A special ‘angpow’ from MPPJ!
RM100 special ‘angpow’ from MPPJ – I need to give them
I always try my best to obey the law. I will never park at the side of the road, I will try to find a parking area to park. And I never double park because I hate people doing that to me.
I circled the area for 15 minutes without finding any parking space and I was rushing back to the office, so I thought parking at the side of the road, not blocking the traffic will be better than double park of parking at the center of the road.
Shop lots opposite, to the left of the bank : Left parking space is full, people park at the center of the road, and side of the road
Shop lots opposite, to the right of bank : Same, both sides no more parking space, some assholes parking at the center of the road.
Shop lots on the row with the bank – left parking space is full, people double park on the right along the way
I do not know if I have other choice in this situation, do you? Stupid town planning, leaving us with little choice but to break the law. (It is no excuse for breaking the law, but I think most of you can understand what I am trying to say here.) Or should I park my car at my house and walk 15 km to the bank?
