I think it’s important to remember that most of the Malays came from Indonesia, and are not indigenous to Malaysia, just as the Chinese came from China, the Indians from India, etc. The natives of this land are the Orang Asli, but just as the native americans were displaced, and the aborigines in Australia, they have been pushed out by the influx of Indonesians claiming this land for their own. Another interesting point is that the Malay, Indonesians and Filipinos are the same ethnic group.

@izz, oh? which part of my post denies what you said about Malay and Islam? I’m glad to know your belief is strong, yet I’m appalled why it needs so much policing By all means, free to follow your religious calling, just don’t impose your values on others… because however true Malays are the native, Islam is the official religion, you have other races with other religions living here, like it or not. If I remember correctly, your religions asks you to live co-exist happily with others no?

@bongkersz, you need to look back at the history. Malays are THE NATIVES OF THIS LAND and ISLAM IS THE MAIN RELIGION IN THIS COUNTRY (I’m not bragging about it but just to remind you the basic fact). The emblem on the Malaysian flag, a yellow crescent and a yellow 14-pointed star both being the traditional symbols of Islam. So stop denying about it and calling us with offensive words and insults. You can go mad and call us religious bigot, anything you want but you know nothing about our beliefs. You are far from understanding the concepts and principles of Muslims under the circumstances. Our beliefs are impossibly unlikely to be altered by your conceited and blasphemy piece of mind.

@Wei yin, read the part where I wrote how because of their protest, the Non Muslims cannot enjoy the hedonistic pleasures as much as they do because of the restrictions.

I care not because it’s a Muslim, Non Muslim matter but it’s about injustice. I see injustice done to my friends, I feel compelled to say something about it. And I sure hope they will do the same for me.

I didn’t put my self thought on Muslim, I merely crying out loud my frustration over the increasing apartheid etnoreligionism in this country.

who are you to put ur self thought on muslim? They just try to execute kartika in muslim way, not on us (i’m not an expert on this, so do you, jut leave them squabbling macam budak2).
