Abdul Razak Baginda acquitted

The Shah Alam High Court today acquitted political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda of abetting the alleged murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.
Justice Mohd Zaki Md Yasin ruled that the prosecution failed to prove a prima facie case against Abdul Razak.
The court however ordered Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, 32 and Corporal Sirul Azha Umar, 37, who are members of the Special Action Force (UTK), to enter their defence to the charge of murder.
Both decided to testify under oath. They will be taking the stand on Nov 10.
The prosecution is expected to file an appeal against Abdul Razak’s acquittal.
Altantuya was allegedly shot before her body was blown up with explosives two years ago.
Azilah and Sirul are jointly charged with murdering Altantuya, 28, at a location between Lot 12843 and Lot 16735 in Mukim Bukit Raja, Selangor between 10am on Oct 19, 2006 and 1am the following day.
Abdul Razak Baginda, 47, was charged with abetting them. He is a known confidante of Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, having worked on government arms procurement projects while the latter was defence minister.
The prosecution closed its case against the trio on June 23 after 151 days of testimony from 84 witnesses.
An elated Abdul Razak left the court with his wife and daughter at about 10.10am.
Refusing to address the journalists who cornered him, Abdul Razak merely said: “I just want to go home”.
Why I am not surprised? The outcome of this case, already predicted by many before the court reached its verdict. Sceptics couldn’t help but to think that the whole thing is nothing but a well written script, with spoilers for each episodes and ending easily available for ‘early screening’.
I love this song very much. It was played on the famous teen drama Dawson’s Creek before, one of my favourite drama back then. Well I watched the drama because of Katie Holmes, hehe! The song also featured in the movie She’s All That, and I was crazy over Rachael Leigh Cook at that time. Remember Rockafeller Skank - Fatboy Slim? I first heard of the song in that movie.
“Right about now, the funk soul brother. Check it out now, the funk soul brother”
Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.
[Chorus:]
Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon’s sparkling
So kiss me
Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing em upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat
We’ll take the trail marked on your father’s map
It is fun checking out the keywords people searched to come to your blog.. Just a fraction of the compilation I did…

ps: I am taking a short break from blogging during this Raya holiday and I will back in my hometown, Sarikei. After Raya holiday, I will need to pack my things and go back to KL again. Work assignment in Kuching has come to an end, so this holiday I will make sure I eat enough Mee Kolok, Laksa Sarawak, Kampua and other Sarawak delicacies for me to last long enough in KL without craving and of course, to spend more time with my loved ones - family, friends, girlfriend. Adios people!
It is a parody of ehem.. a certain infamous Malaysian politician with his ‘buddies’. It parodies Hitler’s downfall in the movie Downfall (German: Der Untergang).
Downfall (German: Der Untergang) is a 2004 German / Austrian drama film depicting the final twelve days of Adolf Hitler in his Berlin bunker and Nazi Germany in 1945, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, written by Bernd Eichinger, and based upon the books: Inside Hitler’s Bunker, by historian Joachim Fest; portions of Albert Speer’s memoirs; the memoirs of Traudl Junge, one of Hitler’s secretaries; Hitler’s Last Days: An Eye-Witness Account, by Gerhardt Boldt; doctor Ernst-Günther Schenck’s memoirs; and the memoirs of Siegfried Knappe.
I am laughing with tears running down my cheeks.. This is so funny!! Even funnier if you watched the movie before, which I did. I love German movies, especially war movies. I watched Das Boot (German for The Boat/Submarine) before, another awesome movie. You should watch it
These are our leaders. Bunch of morons. Nincompoops.
In Penang, Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said Anwar should have cooperated and undergone a DNA test.
He said it was normal for the police to seek DNA tests from suspects involved in rape and sodomy cases.
“As a responsible citizen, Anwar should have cooperated with the police.
“Nobody is above the law.”
I say :What THE FARK are you talking about?? Do you know the law well? If not I suggest to you just keep your smelly mouth shut. Do you aware that our law cannot compel or force anybody to give their blood samples? Yes, so much about ‘nobody is above the law’. Dumbass!
KUALA LUMPUR: Police decided to be “flexible” and released Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on bail although the offence was a non-bailable case.
I say: Crap. Most offence are bailable including sodomy, only murder is a non-bailable. Flexible my foot.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said the police had yet to formally charge him with any crime.
I say: If there is no charge, why the police lock him up?? This is unlawful detention! Where is the police report?? You think Malaysians are dumb like you? For RM2 you can go to any police station and get a copy of the police report. No police report, no formal charge, why the need to detain him? No police report by itself tell the whole world there is no transparency, fabrication of the report is very possible.
“This issue with Anwar has been played up in the international arena and there have been various accusations flung at our Government. He’s done very well in ‘political play’.
I say: Syed Hamid should just resign for causing massive jam and wasting citizen’s money based on his gathered ‘intelligence’. Pak Lah should sack him because when people try to follow his wise advance to change their lifestyle, Syed Hamid Albar instead made their life miserable lifestyle, wasting their hard earned money on petrol stuck in the jam.
Heck if they treat Anwar case just like any other citizen case, following the standard procedures, nobody would ‘play’ the issue up in the international arena. Who sensationalised the issue when 15 police patrol cars with special squad wearing balaclavaswere sent to arrest Anwar?
I shall dedicate this song to our beloved ministers, for THEY = PEOPLE = SHIT
