Hello world…

I am back to the virtual world Missing out a lot of actions. I bet Suituapui has plenty of posts since last week for me to read.. since he’s bugging me everyday to online/post up something. 1st sms I received when I came back from Kuala Terengganu was from Suituapui - ‘Why no post? Cibol very active now, he got a internet connection already.’ ROFTLMAO… Then Man-D sms-ed me with her new mobile number asking about my ‘holiday’ haha! ‘What’s with the king size bed?’ Thanks for all the smses

As I mentioned in my previous post, I was away for a work trip to Hulu Terengganu. Need not to say, no internet connection and even my Digi line hardly make itself available there. Crap, what ‘WIDEST Coverage’ ‘Always with you’ ‘Always the smartest choice’ lah… I feel dumb the whole week Oklah, in their advertisement they put (Almost). I still can send and receive sms, but cannot send or receive mms or make and receive call.

I took some photos and videos while I was there. I stayed at Lake Kenyir Resort & Spa. Yes I sent the mms to Suituapui, my room with a king size bed. Dirty old man, I was showing off how comfortable and big the bed I had for myself lah! Not suggesting anything, especially to Suituapui! NOooo!! Never!!!! Some of the random photos I took on the trip:

Kenyir Lake, well small part of it. The whole lake is bigger than Singapore. Yes, Malaysia and its inferiority complex. Must mention we have bigger, longer, taller things here.

Here is one video I took using my mobile while cruising the lake. (Ehem, I did that after finished my work, okay!)

This the the Saok waterfall. I did not get the chance to perform ’skinny dipping’ there, it was late in the evening and I did not want to scare the animals that might be peeping.

This video was taken on our way to the project site using the logging track. Ignore the eerie laugh, and sorry for making you turning your head in such an angle to view the video properly. Hahahahaha!

I am quite busy right now. I have to arrange few things. I am relocating to Sarawak next week. Yes, you hear that right. I am leaving Klang Valley. No Zewt and NoktahHitam, me not in Sarawak right now. (They told me before they thought I was in Sarawak all this while , not in Klang Valley.) Company will send me there for a project, probably for few months or up to a year.

After that, I will back back to Klang Valley!

Guess many things I cannot enjoy after I leave here. Such as this:

*LC - Lan si - Lan si is often used to describe a snobbish person, a show off. Ehem, lan = penis, si = shit. Literally = shitty penis?? Lan si refers to that layer of filth under the fore skin of a penis. Hence, shit and penis respectively. Example of usage:

1. That person damn lan si.

2. You haven’t cleaned under your fore skin, there’s a lot of lan si and it stinks. Moral of the story, clean it or get yourself circumcised.

Sorry, sidetrack a bit there. Back to Sarawak, no more premiere screenings. Cannot LC anymore. Need to watch cheapo dvds on the market after this

I have few things to say to some good friends. Some of them I yet to meet them in person but we definitely have a good ‘chemistry’ in the virtual world. (Uh, that sounds pretty gay yeah?) I made a lot of friends especially into the year 2008.

NoktahHitam, Zewt: Guess I cannot make it to have teh tarik with you guys before I leave. Zewt, have a great days ahead in Down Under. Keep the great entries coming yeah! NoktahHitam, keep on EMO-ing hahaha! EMO itu penting!

Angeles, no chance meeting you as well. Ehem, still can poke poke in Facebook and goofing around in this blog, right? Kopi Soh, if you are reading this, we keep contact through Facebook okay?

Man-D, Melbie, Lola, Mar - I will definitely see you guys at Rainforest World Music Festival this July! Looking forward to meeting you pretty Sabahan ladies!

There are some that I met through Deny BN a 2/3 Majority group in Facebook and then we become very good friends. I regularly meet up with some of them for coffee/beer and crapping away. Some I never meet with, but we are already friends I know some of them reading this blog (I RSS it to my Notes application in Facebook as well). It is great meeting you guys, definitely more chances to meet up in future, please keep me updated and I shall make a special appearance just for that.

So to Jason, Casey, Durvan, Brian ,Antonia, Azira, Edward, Dofu, Marise, Joanne, Terence, Ajim, Khairul, Ibac, Padma, Marise, Joethi, Medaline, Caleb, Sandra, Shazeea and friends, I will miss you guys. Guess I will be away from Facebook for short period, please behave.

I am quite sad leaving all my good friends here, some of them you already know. Mary, good luck in your new job. Be happy in everything that you do I will come back for the delicious Hokkien Mee. Cibol, go screw yourself and keep the super EMO posts coming. Nyahahahaha! Dude, spare me a place when I am in KL next time. Me have no place to stay no more. See you at RWMF! Bees, Disasters and TDM

A long post. Skip if you are a lazy reader.

I have a lot of things running in my mind right now. I am exhausted. Tired. For the past few days I did a lot of thinking, messing with my flabby, flaccid brain. No I am not quitting this blog like NoktahHitam hahahahaha! (He’s back with vengeance anyway) Some of things are too personal; I feel it should stay that way.

Oh, something weird just happened. There were lots of bees flying outside the office. No idea where they came from and why they were here. What you think the bees were doing? I read somewhere on the internet on frogs and cockroaches ‘running away’ from the area before the earthquake happened. (Now suddenly Hoobastank’s Running Away and Crawling in the Dark are playing in my skull.. ) I managed to take some photos. Now imagine the bees swarming your body.. and feast on it.

I’ve been crawling in the dark looking for the answer

So many things happened in this month - May. Disasters like in Myammar and Sichuan, China. Yesterday earthquakes detected in Sumatra, previous day in Sabah??! Last night I heard they experienced tremors in OUG, Puchong, Cheras areas?

We are lucky a lot. Malaysia do not have any natural disaster happening so far (yet) except for the tsunami that happened in 2004. Even then we realized that this nation is no where ready to cope with an emergency resulted from a big scale calamities. Just read on the internet how schools in China crumbling down like pieces of Lego structures because of the alleged shoddy works and sub-standard materials used for the buildings.

Being in the construction industry myself and having many friends in this field working in construction firms - some as design engineer in consultancy companies, supervisors or engineers on site for contractors companies, we get to know many things happening in the industry and I can tell you it is not very good and sometimes scary to know/hear.

I think many Malaysians should aware of the standard of works in Malaysia where it is an open secret that corruption is rampant in this industry. Things can be ’settled’, what you built on site can be tweaked to suit your pockets and gullible clueless buyers will never find out. Things are built without exactly following the specifications and drawings, the list goes on and on. I had a gathering with bunch of friends last Saturday (my coursemates) and we talked about this and from the feedbacks, Malaysians are really lucky considering our structures are not really put to test So the con-men can sleep soundly at night, counting the money they stolen from the people. Yes, we laughed about it. Ha! Ha! Ha! When you still can laugh about it.. why not?

Then we have political surprises like Tun Mahathir quiting Umno. Umno is going to self destruct anyway, (playing Mission Impossible self destruct message..) so we shall let them shoot themselves to death and we watch from afar. Mahathir is not the first ex-president of Umno to quit Umno. As we are all aware, Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tun Hussein Onn both died as non-Umno members. Only Tun Razak I think was still a member of Umno when he died. So, to some extent, it is quite a trend for ex-Umno presidents to quit Umno for one reason or another.

I extremely disappointed with TDM for what he said in Johor. Malaysians are sick and tired of race-based politics and we need to move on to people-based politics

Yes, many respect the old man. I respect him, personally. Then again, I think we should not be blind to what he did to this country, we paid a heavy price for the ‘developments’ he brought to Malaysia. This lady said it best, I quoted from Malaysiakini:

But I would like to point out along the way, you have forgotten the people who helped you to rule this country for 22 years. That’s right - we the people, citizens, all born here. Now you have to lower yourself to accept your karma. There is absolutely no way you can enter Umno again. These monsters you created are the very same ones you moulded and placed in power. Now they are returning your kind deeds. If you can remember, when Bapa Merdeka and Hussein Onn resigned, Umno did not blink much. So who do you think you are that you can bring Umno down? Umno will cease to exist only when the middle and lower-class people decide enough is enough. Najib will be the last straw because that is his destiny.

So before anyone of you remind me of how many towers he built, how many race tracks, airports, how long, how tall, how big things he built please remember that

1. He used ISA like toilet paper when he’s in power.

2. He stifled the voice of educated masses. Remember AUKU? Aku Janji crap? Operasi Lalang?

3. He coined the Ketuanan Melayu crap. He made the Malays believe that who believed that the whole world was against the Malay race. Is there such a thing? He did no good to the race relations. He is solely responsible for making Umno a racist, bigoted party it is now.

4. He is a racist mustard. Now he is doing it again. His remarks in Johor on Saturday that Malays stood to lose much in the new political environment where non-Malays were unafraid to make demands. Dr Mahathir told the crowd of some 1,000 in Johor Baru that if Malays keep quiet they will lose their rights and other races will take over. What he is trying to do? What happened to his Bangsa Malaysia and Vision 2020 crap? It is utterly irresponsible for him to make those racist statement in Johor and once again, this is the kind of rhetoric Malaysians of all creed and color voted against in the last general elections.

5. He manipulated the judiciary, now proven by the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Lingam tape. He himself mentioned the judges lobbied for positions. Isn’t that illegal?

6. The list is long!!

So, just because he’s trying to portray himself as a hero now, please do not be so gullible to trust the old man. He is too smart, shrewd and cunning to do things selflessly. Sit back and think, what he will gain by doing all this shits. There’s more to this than meets the eye. I am not telling

ps: Karma is a funny thing. It has its way to get back at you. Be very careful. Karma is a bitch. Definitely.

Love No One - Selfish?

I mentioned somewhere in Mar’s blog : Love is selfish. Let me explain why I think so.

1. Love me because I love you.

It is selfish to love people and expect them to love you back. Unconditional love. That is what you want to give him/her and what you want from him/her. People should give without wanting anything in return. Right. All other giving is selfish. By wanting her to love him in return, is not it selfish?

2. Loving someone is selfish.

Why? When you love a person, it means that you value that particular person, that he or she makes your life better, that he or she is an intense source of happiness and joy to you. You love someone because he or she is a value, a selfish value to you, as determined by your standards just as you are a value to him or her.

One will say in order to love, you sacrifice your time, effort and money to make it work and that is a selfless thing to do. Well, the time, effort and money you spend on behalf of someone you love are not sacrifices, but actions taken because his or her happiness is crucially important to your own. Such actions would constitute sacrifices only if they were done for a stranger or for an enemy.

3. Experience love, it is the most selfish experience possible.

Yes, it is the most selfish experience possible. In the true sense of the term, it benefits your life in a way that involves no sacrifice of others to yourself or of yourself to others. When in love we feel that only both of us (or three or four? ) should exist in our own selfish space. We guarded the precious space jealously from others.

Love is a selfish emotion. One do not share his/her love for his/her other half with his/her friends or closed ones. Other emotions like happiness, sadness, frustration can be shared with friends/closed ones, but not the very love a person shares with his/her special one.

4. Love changes a person to be selfish

Love teaches you to be selfish. Emotions like possessiveness, obsession, jealousy sprouted from love albeit those are extreme forms of it. You cannot love someone by being neutral, you must be selfish.

5. Unconditional love

Is it possible for a person to love without wanting love back? Is anything so pure? Love is far too precious to be offered indiscriminately. Love represents an exalted exchange, a spiritual exchange between two people, for the purpose of mutual benefit. Pure love? Unconditional love? It is what we all are searching for but I think it only exists in soap dramas and movies. (Korean dramas especially. Muahahahaha!)

Conclusion :

To say ‘I love you’ one must first know how to say ‘I’.

Love, friendship, respect, admiration are the emotional response of one man to the virtues of another, the spiritual payment given in exchange for the personal, selfish pleasure which one man derives from the virtues of another man’s character.
