KUALA LUMPUR: Batu MP Chua Tian Chang, aka Tian Chua, was convicted yesterday of causing hurt to a police constable and stopping him from discharging his duty two years ago.

Magistrate Mohd Faizi Che Abu sentenced Tian Chua to six months’ jail and a fine of RM3,000 but granted him a stay of execution pending his appeal to the High Court.

If the sentence is upheld, he could be disqualified as an MP.

2. He’s also the Magistrate who sentenced Actress Noniswara’s husband to RM700 fine for assault.

Magistrate Mohd Faizi Che Abu also ordered that Rosman be jailed a week if he failed to pay the fine.

See the consistency of judgement? Same crime – assault, but different sentences meted Well, I know don’t which one is more serious, hitting a woman or biting  a cop for punching you. Oh? Cannot self defence eh?

3. He was the Coroner for Actress Sujatha’s ’suicide’ case too. He ruled that Actress Sujatha committed suicide and there was no foul play involved.

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Sujatha committed suicide and there was no foul play, coroner Mohd Faizi Che Abu ruled Tuesday.

In his findings, coroner Mohd Faizi Che Abu held that “the reason for her suicidal act was cremated together with her.”

He said he had been deprived of obtaining medical certainty as to whether the deceased had taken paraquat because her urine samples were missing and no post-mortem was conducted on her.

He must be doing a damn good job as a judge for he was recently promoted. Good job My Lord

I would like to congratulate another judge, it is Judge Azhaniz Teh Azman Teh for getting a promotion as well. Who is he? Oh, he’s the judge for the case involving two ex-PKR assemblyman turned BN friendly independents – Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (Behrang), Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu (Changkat Jering).

You want more examples? This is not something new, it has happened in the past.

Well,  Gani Patail was a senior deputy public prosecutor when he was handling Anwar’s Sodomy I case. Now he is the Attorney General. Musa Hassan was a senior assistant commissioner and one of his glorious moment was when he carried the semen-stained mattress to court in Sodomy I and now he is the Inspector-General of Police.

Not forgetting Augustine Paul, a very ‘relevant’ judge. Augustine Paul was a lowly judicial commissioner in the Sessions Court before he was promoted to High Court judge a week before Anwar’s Sodomy I trial. He is a Federal Court judge now and surprise!! He was the judge who in his trademark of verbose and unintelligible judgement ruled that Perak Assembly Speaker V Sivakumar does not have the power to suspend Mentri Besar Datuk Zambry Abd Kadir and six state executive council members from attending the assembly – Perak state assembly fiasco.

Lesson of the the many ’stories’ above? Just do a good job you are tasked with and you’ll get rewarded handsomely. That’s meritocracy, what you think I am implying huh? I am happy for Malaysia, at least we do uphold meritocracy when it is necessary.

The Shah Alam High Court today acquitted political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda of abetting the alleged murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Justice Mohd Zaki Md Yasin ruled that the prosecution failed to prove a prima facie case against Abdul Razak.

The court however ordered Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, 32 and Corporal Sirul Azha Umar, 37, who are members of the Special Action Force (UTK), to enter their defence to the charge of murder.

Both decided to testify under oath. They will be taking the stand on Nov 10.

The prosecution is expected to file an appeal against Abdul Razak’s acquittal.

Altantuya was allegedly shot before her body was blown up with explosives two years ago.

Azilah and Sirul are jointly charged with murdering Altantuya, 28, at a location between Lot 12843 and Lot 16735 in Mukim Bukit Raja, Selangor between 10am on Oct 19, 2006 and 1am the following day.

Abdul Razak Baginda, 47, was charged with abetting them. He is a known confidante of Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, having worked on government arms procurement projects while the latter was defence minister.

The prosecution closed its case against the trio on June 23 after 151 days of testimony from 84 witnesses.

An elated Abdul Razak left the court with his wife and daughter at about 10.10am.

Refusing to address the journalists who cornered him, Abdul Razak merely said: “I just want to go home”.

Why I am not surprised? The outcome of this case, already predicted by many before the court reached its verdict. Sceptics couldn’t help but to think that the whole thing is nothing but a well written script, with spoilers for each episodes and ending easily available for ‘early screening’.

It is just like watching a superhero movie, where against all odds, however fancy the plot and the twists you know in the end good will prevail, the hero will save the day, and all live happily every after. I guess that’s why I was not a big fan of Ultraman when I was a kid. Same story, everytime. Monster(s) invades earth, hero becomes Ultraman, Ultraman fights monster(s), Ultraman losing the battle, nearly dying and it looks gloomy for earth (in this case Japan) and the monster is set to haunt this beautiful santuary for humans (or Japanese), Ultraman beaten badly, lying on the ground, face in dirts, then suddenly..jeng jeng jeng.. red light on chest beeping.. beep beep beep.., Ultraman suddenly become so energetic, starts to chop chop monster, doing that ridiculous hand crossing stance and beaming ‘light’ against the monster, monster exploded in pieces, Ultraman flys back to his place just in time.. so he saves the day, yet again! Boring……..

Back to the drama case,

1) So it is not Razak Baginda ordering the killing of Altantuya, then these two ‘faceless’ UTK acted on their own? Very unlikely, taking into account their nature of work – in their line of work, they follow orders, specific instructions. Who ordered the ‘job’ then? He/she is still out there?

2) This give even more credence to the leaked sms between Najib Tun Razak and the defense counsel. He never deny the existence of sms-es sent between him and Shafee. One of the text messages allegedly sent by Najib said that Razak “will face a tentative charge but all is not lost.” This message raises a lot of questions about Najib’s role in this case. Why did he mention ‘tentative’ charge and that ‘all is not lost’ for Razak Baginda? How would Najib know this before Razak was charged? Is there already a deal in place that will see Razak aquitted?

3) Any of you ever see faces of the other two suspects? Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri and Corporal Sirul Azha Umar, they never fail to cover their face throughout the court proceedings, I think none of us ever see their faces. Not sure when they were in court, whether people attending the sessions saw their faces or not. But, why the secrecy?? Special treatment? Heck if they catch any mat gians (drug addicts) from the alleys and replace the two suspects, we never know, right?

The whole thing is a joke. Malaysia courtroom dramas, definitely on par or better than John Grisham’s bestsellers. Someone should start compiling the cases, added in bit of fictions (tiru macam Dan Brown la!) and he/she will put John Grisham out of business, for sure. Wanna bet?

Song for today, best to describe this latest news is – Pretty Woman. Just change the part pretty woman to ‘murderers’. So it goes.. ‘Murderers.. walking down the street…’, you get me?

“Dude wake up. Anwar accused of sodomy again”

I tried to reply his sms and fired up my Digi Internet but to no avail, because I did not pay my outstanding bill haha! End up calling Digi and made the payment through the phone. Only now I have the chance to get on the internet and read on the issue.

I have yet to read much on this but.. just few comments and interesting links to share.

So, another sodomy report against Anwar Ibrahim? Come on, come up with something new. Old trick cannot be used many times. Bodoh! This is the second time that such a report had been lodged in over 10 years. According to the police report filed by his 23-year-old aide yesterday, the sodomy allegedly committed by de facto PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim took place “in a condo in the Damansara area”. The following police report was made on 28 June 2008 at 5.45 PM by Mohd Saiful Bukhari bin Azlan, who turns 23 next week (IC No. 850706-01-5687):

“Saya Mohd Saiful Bukhari b Azlan ingin melaporkan bahawa saya telah diliwat oleh majikan saya. Perkara ini berlaku tanpa kerelaan saya. Kejadian terakhir berlaku 26/6/08 di Unit 1151, Kondominium Desa Damansara, Jln Setia Kasih, KL. Oleh itu, tujuan laporan ini dibuat untuk mendapat pembelaan dan keadilan keatas diri saya. Saya juga berasa bimbang dengan keselamatan diri dan keluarga saya jika perkara ini tersebar luas di khalayak ramai. Majikan saya Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim – Ketua Umum PKR.”

Me: The accuser does not have a time where the incident was alleged to have happen. What kind of sloppy, dumb report is this? How is the accused going to prepare his defense of alibi?

Let us look at the whole thing carefully.

What are the information that we have? In this issue we should take a look the background of the individuals involved.

1st, Anwar Ibrahim (AI). He was accused of sodomy and corruption in 1998. He was found guilty for both charges but the sodomy charge was overturned, six years after he served his time in jail. There are many rumours flying around regarding AI sexuality. Some swore that they saw AI dating ‘lelaki jambu’(pretty boy) before. (Hmm… those who admitted that AI sodomised them – Dr. Munawar and AI’s driver both also not handsome and jambu. Fugly. Sukma? Well.. I don’t want to comment, leave that to STP hahahaha! ) Only AI and his god knows whether he did what he was accused. I personally think he is not into backdoor entry and even if he is, that is his personal choice. I reserved the same opinion for Chua Soi Lek. I am not supporting the actions, but I sure condemn those that forever on their high moral pedestals – self elected moral guardians. Self appointed moral guardians irk me. Get a life, pls?

2nd. Who is Saiful Bukhari – the accuser? According to many inviduals that personally know this guy, he is what we call ‘a wolf in sheep’s clothing’. Malays say ‘Musang berbulu ayam’. The are reports saying this guy was Najib’s strong man, ex-UMNO guy. He gained entry to AI political circle through his friend after ‘repented’ and left AMNO.

We also aware of certain profilic individuals such as Musa Hassan and Gani Patail and their ‘involvements’ in the conviction of AI. Musa Hassan was the investigating officer at that time (Probably if you followed the case closely you will remember he’s guy carrying the ’semen-ted’ mattress to the court) and Gani Patail was the case prosecutor. Could be a vendetta? After they failed to convict AI?

Done with actors’ biodatas. Let’s look at the situation of background of the story.

After 8 Mac political tsunami, weakness of the BN-led government under Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is getting more obvious. The government is getting lesser support as time goes by especially after few unpopular decisions made by him such as raising the fuel price, sidelining East Malaysian leaders from his cabinet and exerting pressures against and pulling out people’s projects from Pakatan Rakyat-ruled states. He is making a lot of enemies from inside and outside AMNO. (too long to list out). He will be dethroned anytime soon and his party (read BN) may lose power of the country. He is in a situation what we call ‘deep shit’.

Abdullah is not the only person to feel the heat. His second man, Najib and the infamous Rosmah Mansor – Najib’s wife also feeling the heat especially after RPK made a Statutory Declaration implicating Rosmah in Altantuya’s murder case. The case becomes too hot to handle, even Najib and his wife were forced to respond to the media.

Anwar – deemed the new hope of Malaysia. Widely acknowledged as ‘Prime Minister in waiting’. He is seen to the the only person capable to steer Malaysia and ’save’ Malaysia from catastrophic doomsday. He is gaining more supports from the ground after the encouraging result for the opposition (especially his party – PKR) in the March 2008 General Election. Despite receiving more supports, he is also bombarded with all sort of allegations in the MSM without any access given to him to defend or reply to the allegations.

Latest allegation? He sodomised Saiful Bahari.

My take? These are few questions and comments to ponder about:

1. Abdullah is trying to kill many birds with one stone. RPK, Najib, and Anwar Ibrahim. Who would think he will do this? But then again, who would think he would remarry again (after he denied it previously), dissolve the parliament (after saying the exact opposite the previous day?) and increased the fuel price as much as 40% to RM2.70 (after he was saying otherwise the previous day?) Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is capable of many things.

2. I think it is a pathetic show and desperate attempt by the corrupted government to save its ass and after a decade, is this still relevant?

3. This is may be an attempt to sidetrack us from major issues – C4 , Altantuya and the Statutory Declaration by RPK. They are trying to badawise us! We are stupid but we are not badawi! Note: Saiful Bukhari was close to Najib before. This explosive news probably is to divert the attention from Najib and other dead horses to AI.

4. So how does that 35 year-old (now 45 years old) virgin fit into all this? Remember Ummi Hafilda? Out of nowhere she came into the picture? Is she going to make her appearance again?

5. Are we going to see the parade of mattresses again? Hey they probably dust the old mattress and use it as evident in court again. Bring in on!

6. Probably we should ask Ezam Mat Noor? He was a close aide to Anwar and now he is busy attacking AI. Probably he was sodomised before as well? Huh, after 10 years of the Anwar’s sodomy case, nobody come out and say ‘I was sodomise and this is the farking proof’. What we had was some individuals went to lodge police reports against AI. Why straightly go to the police? Go to TV3, show medical reports, photos to the world if it is true. Why police first? The pattern is there. Same old pattern. Boring. Dumb.

7. What a lame reproduction.

Why not come up with a new plot? While they are at it, why not accuse AI of Altantuya’s murder? Create some stories like actually AI was having affair with Altantuya, then also sodomised some boys and Altantuya found up, she went berserked and AI killed him?? Be creative lah! Old trick cannot be used many times!!!!!!!!

Tindakan mendakwa RPK atas tuduhan menghasut adalah amatlah kelakar. Ini kerana selama ini Malaysia Today memang sentiasa menyiarkan artikel berbaur hasutan, mengapa tunggu sehingga sekarang? Pembaca Malaysia Today tidak akan jumpa satu pun artikel di mana RPK tidak berbunyi seperti radio buruk (does not sound like a broken record?) menyuarakan kemarahan beliau kepada kerajaan BN yang lembik, kurang bijak, lemah, korup, basi, reput dan yang sewaktu dengannya.

Mengapa RPK didakwa di bawah Akta Hasutan selepas pilihanraya telah berlalu? Mengapa ketika kerajaan BN sedang bercakap mengenai ‘lebih banyak kebebasan dan ruang’ terutamanya untuk ‘bloggers’ yang mereka cuba dekati dan sayangi? (LOL) Semua ini nampak tidak betul, banyak perkara yang tidak kena dalam hal ini, melainkan tindakan mendakwa RPK adalah satu permainan politik. Sudah pasti dakwaan ke atas RPK didalangi unsur-unsur politik.

Di Malaysia, semua laporan berita yang berlaku banyak berkait rapat dengan politik, sehingga kepada waktu bila dan ketika sesuatu berita itu dikeluarkan adalah ditentukan dan bermotivasikan politik. Sesiapa yang ada otak (Khairy tidak ada, dia otak udang) pun tahu dan sedia maklum akhbar-akhbar utama di Malaysia cuma melaporkan berita yang ‘gomen’ hendak rakyat dengar. Hari ini, ‘gomen’ hendak anda dengar bahawa RPK ada ‘bukti’. Bukti apa? Menyabitkan siapa? Soalan-soalan kacang seperti ini jawapannya cukup jelas, tidak usah ditanya. Rasanya makcik cuci jamban dekat Midvalley pun dia tahu jawapannya, bolehlah pergi tanya.

Balik kepada persoalan mengapa RPK ditahan jika ia bukan didorong atas motivasi politik? Pemilihan parti UMNO akan diadakan dalam bulan Disember. RPK akan meringkuk di dalam penjara tanpa ikat jamin untuk beberapa bulan sebelum kes ini dibawa ke mahkamah. RPK mungkin sebelum ini telah memperolehi bukti yang boleh menyabitkan ‘NO. 2′ dalam kes Altantuya. Sejauh mana kukuhnya bukti yang dimiliki oleh PRK masih tidak diketahui, akan tetapi sekiranya RPK berkata beliau ‘ada bukti’ dan tidak mahu diikat jamin, kita boleh yakin bahawa beliau mempunyai bukti yang secukupnya. Dalam temuramah dengan beliau semalam ketika di mahkamah:

“Apa yang menyebabkan awak ingat saya tidak ada bukti? Apa yang menyebabkan awak ingat saya tidak ada dokumen?

“Sekiranya saya menyatakannya dalam tulisan yang, mereka akan menangkap saya di bawah OSA. Awak ingat saya bodoh?” kata beliau kepada kumpulan wartawan

(”What makes you think I don’t have proof? What makes you think I don’t have documents?

“If I do submit the proof behind my writing, they will arrest me under the OSA. You think I’m stupid?” he asked the assembled journalists)

RPK tidak perlukan komputer untuk menulis dan merancang ‘kejahatan’. Ribuan penyokong beliau sedang melakukannya untuk beliau. Ketika beliau tidur di penjara – ribuan penyokong beliau sedang meludah ke atas gambar ‘NO. 2′ dan berkata, “Dia yang bersalah!” RPK tidak bersalah, tidak pernah dan tidak akan bersalah. Kepada penyokong beliau, rakyat biasa beliau seperti saya dan anda, beliau tidak pernah dan tidak akan bersalah. ‘No. 2′ yang bersalah, atas apa kesalahan hanya RPK yang tahu dan mempunyai bukti tetapi beliau belum sedia untuk memberitahu, mungkin hanya berbuat demikian jika beliau di mahkamah dengan 100 kamera membuat rakaman.

Besar kemungkinan apabila bukti ini dihebahkan di mahkamah nanti, ia akan menjadi isu paling sensasi di dunia. Bukan selalu kita mendengar orang mengebom perempuan jelita dari Mongolia, jadi tunggu sehingga tiba hari RPK berada di mahkamah, semua media di dunia akan berkhemah di kedai mamak berhampiran bangunan mahkamah.

Akan tetapi, No. 2 boleh sahaja menafikannya lagi dengan sebarang alasan, paling tidak beliau akan meletak jawatan dan mengambil Karpal Singh menjadi peguam bela beliau. Kebarangkalian untuk beliau meletak jawatan sudah tentu lebih tinggi berbanding Karpal Singh membela beliau di mahkamah, kerana Karpal Singh sedang ‘duduk’ sibuk ‘berperang’ dengan Khairy atau PAS.

Waktunya amat tepat untuk seseorang seperti RPK untuk ‘membocorkan’ perkara sebenarnya. RPK hanyalah ‘cara untuk memperolehi matlamat’. Matlamat akhir adalah untuk menyingkirkan No. 2. Akhir nanti, barangkali RPK cuma hanya menerima hukuman ringan dan didenda RM5,000 tetapi No. 2, beliau menerima arahan ‘kawat’ keluar dari Putrajaya.

Buat masa sekarang, sedang RPK tidur dengan nyenyak dalam sel penjaranya, No. 2 berguling keresahanan dalam instana yang dikawal penuh rapi. Siapa yang sebenarnya dalam penjara? Yang pasti, bukan RPK.

Soalan cepu emas: Siapa graduan Oxford tapi sedikit dungu?

Apabila kita bercakap mengenai ‘Let’s send the Altantuya murderers to hell’, adakah kita sedang bercakap mengenai persoalan syurga dan neraka? Atau kita sedang bercakap mengenai kewajaran pembunuh Altantuya menerima hukuman – dihantar ke neraka? Sayang sekali belajar tinggi-tinggi, tapi otak udang.

Lim Kit Siang (Ipoh Timur-DAP) dalam sesi perbahasan titah ucapan Duli Yang Maha Mulia Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-wathiqu billah al-Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Shah menganggap apa yang sedang berlaku ke atas Raja Petra sekarang ini adalah meriupakan implikasi keputusan pilihan raya umum yang lalu.

“Adakah semua ahli parlimen bersetuju dengan tajuk artikel Raja Petra yang berbunyi,’Let send Altantuya’s murderer to hell’ ? Saya bertanya sedemikian bukan merujuk kepada sesiapa secara khusus tetapi atas dasar keadilan dan kebenaran, kita sememangnya mahukan pembunuh beliau dihukum,” penegasan Lim disambut dengan sokongan seluruh ahli parlimen Pakatan Rakyat.

Selanjutnya, Lim meneruskan hujah sambil mempertikaikan tindakan undang-undang yang sedang diambil oleh pihak kerajaan ke atas Raja Petra dengan mengenakan Akta Hasutan.

Ia disangkal oleh Khairy Jamaludin (Rembau-BN) yang mempertikaikan mengenai persoalan syurga neraka yang tidak sewajarnya dibincangkan memandangkan hal tersebut hanya diketahui Allah sahaja.

Lim membidas kenyataan Khairy dengan menjelaskan bahawa beliau tidak membincangkan mengenai syurga neraka bahkan isu utama adalah mengenai hukuman yang sepatutnya dikenakan ke atas pembunuh kes berprofil tinggi, Altantuya Shariibu.

Pada masa yang sama, Dato’ Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (Pasir Salak-BN) menyindir ahli-ahli parlimen PAS yang berdiam diri apabila persoalan mengenai syurga neraka itu sedang hangat dibincangkan.

“Kenapa ustaz, ustazah daripada PAS diam? Jawablah mengenai isu ini,” sindirnya.

Membidas serangan yang dibuat kedua-dua ahli parlimen BN tersebut, Lim menyatakan bahawa isu utama yang dibincang serta dibangkitkan beliau adalah mengenai pertikaian terhadap tindakan undang-undang yang dikenakan ke atas Raja Petra Kamarudin tanpa memfokuskan kepada persoalan syurga neraka.

“Saya menyebutkan mengenai kewajaran pembunuh Altantuya dihantar ke neraka atas kesalahan yang dilakukan bukannya mengenai menentukan hal syurga dan neraka.

“Kalau ini pun tidak boleh difahami, tidak gunalah graduate daripada Oxford University tetapi masih tidak boleh memahami isi kandungan perbincangan,” tegasnya sambil disambut sokongan ahli-ahli parlimen Pakatan rakyat lain.

In true Malaysia Boleh spirit, we now have Lingam-gate Trilogy! Aye! Aye! You probably already watched Part 1 and Part II of Lingam-gate. Now you are going to watch Part III of Lingam-gate.  I have no idea if they will come out with Part IV, I guess that depends on the viewers’ responses. Lingam proves himself as a farking good actor (and liar) in the last 2 episodes and in the latest episode as well, I bet many Malaysians anxiously waiting to see more of his great performance.

Lingam: The constitution judges said the constitution said, in the opinion of the prime minister he recommend. Who the prime minister recommend? So you are Dzaiddin, you are chief justice, you recommend 10 names, I consent, I said I want these 15 names, can’t do anything. He recommend to rulers, rulers only consulted, not approve, only consult. You Know?

[Voice off-camera]: Because if it goes up to the Court of Appeal…

Lingam: Now Dzaiddin wants to come through the PM because he wants his Tun-ship. So…he doing everything to please the PM lah, but he recommended five judges, three…three approved, which is Tun Eusoff Chin’s men, two not Eusoff Chin’s men which we objected. I prepared the report and rejected… but he wants to appeal again lah.

[Voice off-camera]: Can he appeal?

Lingam: He can appeal lah, but will be rejected lah.

[Voice off-camera]: I never know appointment can be rejected you know?

Lingam: No, recommendation can be rejected. The PM shall recommend so and so, after consulting so and so. So, PM suppose to consult Loh Mui Fah before he recommends. So Loh Mui Fah recommend 10 names, he in fact can say I disagree with your 10 names, I recommend Gurm…Lingam and so and so. Nothing you can do. You are only…you are supposed to be consulted, not to be approved. You see the point or not? The constitution said consult. I suppose to consult my father before I marry, I consulted him, he disagreed but still I married!

[Voice off-camera]: Because that is not final, ah.

Lingam: Right, consult is to discuss. That’s all. But if I must get my father’s approval before married, then different. Approval different from consult.

[Voice off-camera]: So, who is the lord president now?

Lingam: Now chief justice Dzaiddin.

[Voice off-camera]: Dzaiddin…

Lingam: But between you and me. We have taken Dzaiddin for dinner three times.

[Voice off-camera]: Three times already.

Lingam: And we have given him the most expensive gift. Don’t ask about it lah. I have given him and Vincent Tan has given him. So, he also cannot attack us. Tomorrow we go say we give you this this this. He cannot go and say you are a agent. Correct or not? So, he is neither here nor there lah. That’s all.

[Voice off-camera]: But… Chief Justice..

Lingam: But in the court when I argue with him. He said, Datuk Lingam you said you will take one hour. I said, my Lord, it is only 50 minutes, I got another 10 minutes. But…I appreciate. Lingam: He is called… those days called lord president, now called chief justice, federal court.

[Voice off-camera]: Oh… it is the same title.

Lingam: Number two President Court of Appeal, that Wan Adnan, my personal friend. He was sick. Nobody knows he is close to me. Right, in fact, he never knew his name is going up until I told him. Then number three, Ahmad Fairuz, Chief Judge Malaya. Ahmad Fairuz is going to be acting, now acting…number two. Right?
