Malaysian leaders? A bunch of nincompoops!!

Friday, July 18th, 2008 115 views

These are our leaders. Bunch of morons. Nincompoops.

In Penang, Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said Anwar should have cooperated and undergone a DNA test.

He said it was normal for the police to seek DNA tests from suspects involved in rape and sodomy cases.

“As a responsible citizen, Anwar should have cooperated with the police.

“Nobody is above the law.”

I say : What THE FARK are you talking about?? Do you know the law well? If not I suggest to you just keep your smelly mouth shut. Do you aware that our law cannot compel or force anybody to give their blood samples? Yes, so much about ‘nobody is above the law’. Dumbass!

KUALA LUMPUR: Police decided to be “flexible” and released Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on bail although the offence was a non-bailable case.

I say: Crap. Most offence are bailable including sodomy, only murder is a non-bailable. Flexible my foot.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said the police had yet to formally charge him with any crime.

I say: If there is no charge, why the police lock him up?? This is unlawful detention! Where is the police report?? You think Malaysians are dumb like you? For RM2 you can go to any police station and get a copy of the police report. No police report, no formal charge, why the need to detain him? No police report by itself tell the whole world there is no transparency, fabrication of the report is very possible.

“This issue with Anwar has been played up in the international arena and there have been various accusations flung at our Government. He’s done very well in ‘political play’.

I say: Syed Hamid should just resign for causing massive jam and wasting citizen’s money based on his gathered ‘intelligence’. Pak Lah should sack him because when people try to follow his wise advance to change their lifestyle, Syed Hamid Albar instead made their life miserable lifestyle, wasting their hard earned money on petrol stuck in the jam.

Heck if they treat Anwar case just like any other citizen case, following the standard procedures, nobody would ‘play’ the issue up in the international arena. Who sensationalised the issue when 15 police patrol cars with special squad wearing balaclavas were sent to arrest Anwar?

I shall dedicate this song to our beloved ministers, for THEY = PEOPLE = SHIT

Pemuda Umno gesa ‘budaya liar asing’ dikekang
Jul 13, 08 11:00pm

Bak kata orang putih:

He would turn in his grave if he knew what  bullshits his grandson is spitting today.

Siapakah pengasas Umno kalau bukan Datuk Onn bin Jaafar?

Lihat Australia, United Kingdom, Amerika Syarikat, Jepun, Korea. (Oh, stop the crap about this is not our culture.. please refer point 1. - Tolong hentikan lawak bodoh mengatakan ini bukan budaya kita. Rujuk fakta 1.

Mengganggu lalu lintas? Mengganggu ketenteraman awam? Oh jika begitu, batalkan saja pesta Jom Heboh, persembahan Citrawarna Malaysia, perlawanan bola sepak dan apa saja acara dan keramaian yang melibatkan orang ramai.

6. Kebanyakan pemimpin atasan Umno sekarang memang buta sejarah. Ini tidak boleh disangkal.

“History is who we are and why we are the way we are.”

Najib vs Anwar Flip Flops Match

Friday, July 4th, 2008 42 views

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has reiterated that he had neither met nor known Altantuya Shaariibuu.

“The statutory declaration, which I consider a horrible lie, a mere fabrication with malicious intention and slanderous element is aimed at smearing my image,” he told a packed press conference held at about 7pm at his office in Parliament Building here yesterday.

Najib said the statutory declaration by private investigator P. Balasubramaniam was a “red herring” by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to divert public attention from the sodomy allegation against the PKR adviser.

“I am very sure that this is a very desperate attempt to divert attention from the sodomy allegation that Anwar is facing now.

“What is important now is not the matter raised as a diversion, (or as a) red herring. … What people want to know is whether the sodomy case happened or not. I hope the relevant authorities will investigate and make an announcement as soon as possible,” he said.

On the statutory declaration, Najib said as it contradicted the testimonies in court and also the police report, he would leave it to the authorities to investigate fully, but stressed that he also had rights as a citizen to defend himself.

I can take personal action, but what is more important is that action can be taken because there are provisions of the law like defamation and so forth,” he added.

Najib also denied that he had had a sexual relationship with Altantuya, nor did he conspire to cover up her murder as alleged by Balasubramaniam.

“No, absolutely not, because I have never ever met her,” he said

Asked whether he was willing to be investigated, he said: “Why should I be investigated? Give me a good reason. The police have investigated the entire Altantuya case, so they know everything.

The parties responsible (for the statutory declaration) should be prepared to accept any consequences if the authorities uncover any legal wrongdoing.”

Najib questioned why the matter had to come up now after Anwar was recently accused of sodomy.

“Now, suddenly everyone is under attack, the Inspector-General of Police, the Attorney-General, even I am attacked.

“Why now? This is the question,” he added.

“If he (Anwar) was so concerned about the case he should have brought it up much, much earlier. Why now?” he added.

Asked whether the latest accusations would affect him during the coming Umno elections, Najib said it would not.

“I’m very relaxed about it. As you can see I’m still smiling. I’m not worried at all because the truth will prevail,” he added.

Najib said he believed in the (justice) system and stressed that he had not done anything wrong.

“There’s nothing to be worried about. Life goes on as usual. As far as I’m concerned, it’s business as usual,” he added.

It is funny when he is in the soup, he cried ‘Wolf! Wolf!’ but when Anwar is in the soup, he cried ‘Police! Police!’.

To borrow the words from the horse’s mouth:

1. “The statutory declaration, which I consider a horrible lie, a mere fabrication with malicious intention and slanderous element is aimed at smearing my image,”

- Anwar may say “The sodomy allegation and the police report by Saiful Bukhari, which I consider a horrible lie, a mere fabrication with malicious intention and slanderous element is aimed at smearing my image”

- Hmm.. the sodomy allegation by Anwar’s ’special aide’ Saiful Bukhari was a ‘red herring’ by ’some people’ to divert public attention from the Statutory Declaration (SD) made by Raja Petra Kamarudin against the DPM’s wife. A desperate attempt to divert public attention from the SD.

3. “What is important now is not the matter raised as a diversion, (or as a) red herring. … What people want to know is whether the sodomy case happened or not.

- What is important now is not the matter raised as a diversion, (or as a) red herring… What people want to know it whether the SD by RPK has any truth or not. Hey, why he thinks the SD by RPK is not important? Or SD by Balasubramaniam is not important?

We also want to know whether Najib and his wife was involved in the murder of Altantuya. We also want to know the truth. We want things mentioned in the SD to be investigated, well to clear our beloved DPM’s name and charge the bloody person that made the false SD, send them to jail for making a false declaration and lie to public.

It is more important because Najib currently is our Deputy Prime Minister while Anwar Ibrahim is a nobody now. He is not in the government, he is not a minister, he is not a member of parliament, he is not even paid by the rakyat to serve them.

4. “I can take personal action, but what is more important is that action can be taken because there are provisions of the law like defamation and so forth,

This is very funny. IF you are damn sure it (the SD) is  a lie, malicious and slanderous fabrication, you should be fast to say you are going to sue without any hesitation. Say it.. “I will fucking sue P Balasubramaniam and Anwar Ibrahim for making false allegation and defaming me. I will bring this to court and sue them till they drop to their pants.” Or make a police report against them. I don’t know if a person make a SD, can you make a police report against that SD. Me no lawyer. What ever, but point is, he should say ‘Yes I will take personal action, not I can take personal action.. “ because it sounds wrong.. I can take.. WTF!

5. “Why should I be investigated? Give me a good reason. The police have investigated the entire Altantuya case, so they know everything.

The parties responsible (for the statutory declaration) should be prepared to accept any consequences if the authorities uncover any legal wrongdoing.”

:???: Why should you be investigated?? Oh crap. Because you are named in a Statutory Declaration, tolol! SD is a serious shit.

SD has been defined as “A statutory declaration is a legal document defined under the law of certain Commonwealth nations. It is similar to a statement made under oath, however, it is not sworn.

Statutory declarations are commonly used to allow a person to affirm something to be true for the purposes of satisfying some legal requirement or regulation when no other evidence is available. They are thus similar to affidavits (which are made on oath).”

Intentionally making a false statement as a statutory declaration is a crime equivalent to perjury, and punishable by fines and/or a prison sentence of up to 4 years. (Australia)

Sure the parties responsible for the statutory declaration should know better about the consequences they may face should the authorities uncover any legal wrongdoing. They wil go to jail for making a false declaration.

*******************************************************************

There are too many questions with no answer.

1. Lately, we see people making SD like nobody’s business, it sure gives us an image that SD is conveniently abused like a toilet paper, recklessly using it for their sordid political mileage.

2.  A lot of things mentioned in the SD still just ‘hearsay’ and from ‘reliable sources’. There are still a lot to prove. Hey I want to make a SD based on my ‘reliable sources’ too. Just RM4.00 can make one :D

3. A certain politician is laughing and probably busy eating his popcorn with coke enjoying the mud-slinging show between his biggest rivals. He is having a big feast!

4. Conveniently, the run up of UMNO branch meetings begin in two weeks, the UMNO election is coming soon and Anwar has 2 more months to deliver his promise - 16 September 2008.

5. If you recall correctly, when another witness mentioned Najib’s name in court, the entire prosecution and defense team got their knickers in a knot, and the judge expunged the statement from the court record. The latest SD sure interesting.

6. Najib is not making any sense with his funny explanations on Saiful Bukhari, the sodomy ‘victim’.

First he said he met Saiful Bukhari 3 months ago about scholarship (Wait.. the guy met with DPM or his special assistant, Khairil Anas? Damn I am confused.) Now he said he met Saiful Bukhari few days before polis report and Saiful even TOLD HIM that he was sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim. .. Which one is true?

Najib said he then told Saiful that it was up to him if he wanted to lodge a police report against Anwar.

“I said to him ‘It’s up to you.’ I left it to him to decide whether he wanted to leave it to the police to investigate and carry out the next course of action

What?? Sodomy is a serious crime. He should have said “You should make a police report if this is true”. How funny of all people, this Saiful Bukhari went to see him. Of 26 million Malaysians!! How wonderful. Why not go to Michael Chong? Why go to Najib??

Why this nobody, college dropout and an assistant to opposition leader, Saiful, end up in our DPM’s private residence over a weekend to express his emotional trauma from the alleged sodomy episode he had with Anwar Ibrahim? I didn’t know there was a open house at DPM’s over the weekend?! Oh… open house that only one person was invited.

Usah khuatir sekiranya anda mangsa liwat. Jumpa Datuk N.

7. It is your words against mine drama now. Who is telling the truth??? It is for you to decide.

Latest Update:

PI Balasubramaniam retracts parts of his Statutory Declaration. (updated)

PI retracts declaration

KUALA LUMPUR: Political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda’s private investigator P. Balasubramaniam on Friday retracted his statutory declaration which he made less than 24 hours ago.

“I wish to retract the entire contents of my statuutory declaration dated July 1 2008. I was compelled to affirm the said statutory declaration under duress,” said Balasubramaniam in his new statutory declaration dated Friday.

The new statutory declaration states:

“I wish to expressly state that at no material time did (Abdul) Razak (Abdullah) Baginda inform me that he was introduced to Altantuya Shaaribu by a VIP and at no material time did Razak Baginda inform me that Datuk Seri Najib (Tun Razak) had a sexual relationship with Altantuya Shaaribu and that she was susceptible to anal intercourse.

“At no material time did Razak Baginda inform me that Datuk Seri Najib instructed Razak Baginda to look after Altantuya Shaaribu as he did not want her to harass him since he was the Deputy Prime Minister.”

Not only do we have flip flop leaders… we also have flip flop PIs… WTF!! Charge the bugger for treating SD like a toilet paper. Hell, we don’t even recycle our toilet paper. Under duress my foot!

Nat has this to say:

Threatened? Bribed? Lied?

The truth is, I have no idea.

But let’s be patient, I suspect more intriguing facts will reveal themselves shortly, and will try to update if I can.

In the meantime, here’s a question for you. Who is this M. Arulampalam, Bala’s new lawyer? Who is he connected to? Why get rid of the former lawyer?

How much actually the government spent on fuel subsidy??

Thursday, June 26th, 2008 13 views

I love it when the government start talking in numbers. This is because, Maths never lie. Take a look at  the figures quoted below in bold.

Yes, we export crude petroleum, says the president and chief executive officer of Petronas, Tan Sri Hassan Marican. In 2007, Malaysia extracted about 600,000 barrels per day, of which 339,000 barrels per day were refined here. The remainder was exported unprocessed, making us a net exporter of crude.

On the other hand, notes Minister for Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Datuk Shahrir Samad, Malaysia is a net importer of refined petrol.

We produced 110,000 barrels of refined petrol per day last year but the demand was 190,000 barrels per day.

The balance had to be imported - 29 million barrels for the whole year.

At RM43 billion last year, Shahrir notes, fuel subsidies consumed about a quarter of the RM164 billion operating and development expenditure.

(Source: NST)

Let us do some number crunching.

1 barrel = 159 litres (Read here)

190,000 barrels per day = 30,210,000 litres per day

1 year = 30,210,000 x 365 = 11,026,650,000 litres

Subsidy in 2007 (last year) = RM0.19 per litre, (quoted from table)

So total subsidy = 11,026,650,000 x RM0.19 = RM2,095,063,500

= RM2 billion??

Hmm.. probably petrol subsidy and diesel subsidy should be added together.

Subsidy in 2007 RM0.19 + RM0.43 = 0.62 per litre,

So total subsidy = 11,026,650,000 x RM0.62 = RM6,836,523,000

= RM6 billion??

Using the numbers given by Shahrir Samad, I can’t get RM43 billion fuel subsidies from all the calculation I did!!:!: WHY? I probably sucks at Maths. Can you help me here? How to get at RM43 billion? Find, get me RM35B. Oh,  I think RM30B is enough. Please? I need to go to sleep now..

ps: I actually made a mistake of using 190,000 barrels per day demand to calculate the subsidy, when I probably should use the 29 millions barrels per year that need to be imported for calculation. Well, why the government need to subsidise what we can produce locally right? Then the subsidy for fuel is just 29 millions x 159 litres x RM0.62 = RM2 billion. :???: This is not making any F sense!

pss: I will be glad if somebody points out I made a mistake in my calculation. Please. Then we will know where the rest of the billions went to..

pss: You probably want to read The Truth About Fuel Subsidy and What Is Never Mentioned In  Mainstream Media as well.

Only in Malaysia..

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008 15 views

This can only happen in Malaysia, the nation where everything BOLEH!

Now, media barred from Parliament lobby

KUALA LUMPUR: In another move that has journalists infuriated, the Parliament administration slapped a ban on them entering the lobby.

More than 100 representatives from various media organisations were allowed at a small corner, where press conferences are normally held.

The journalists retaliated by reporting only on events in the House while boycotting events held at the lobby. These included one press conference by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and two meetings by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in charge of Parliament Affairs Datuk Seri Nazri Abd Aziz was quick to response: “I am the intermediary between the legislative and the executive, I am not involved.”

On Friday, the Parliament administration faxed a notice to media organisations after 5pm on a new measure - limiting the number of pressmen covering Parliament to five at any one time effective from Monday. It cited security reasons.

Yesterday, red tape was used to cordon off the lobby with security guards stationed in the area. Only non-press members and civil servants were allowed in.

Pressmen, thus, only had access to the cafeteria, the small corner for press conferences and the Speaker’s office. They had none to the lounge meant for MPs, the cubicles for ministers, the bridge linking the lobby to the next building where the Prime Minister’s Office is located, mobile post offices and ATM machines.

In the House, some MPs fought for the journalists. Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng (DAP - Bagan), for instance, raised the matter with the Chair, saying the ban did not reflect on freedom of press nor showcased the institution as a “first-world Parliament”.

“Restricting them to a corner like that will make it troublesome to get explanations from the ministers on the various government policies.

“I feel the House is not according proper respect to its role,” he added.

To this, Deputy Speaker Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar told Guan Eng that the Chair had discussed the matter after the previous Parliament meeting.

“We decided there should be more order in the lobby,” he said, promising to bring the matter up with Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia and deputy Datuk Ronald Kiandee. An announcement is expected either today or tomorrow.

He, however, disagreed with Guan Eng that the ban be revoked while the decision was still pending.

Later at about 3pm, Pandikar Amin said he was awaiting replies from editors on the number of reporters required at Parliament. “If five reporters are not sufficient and they need 10, then I need them to explain to me why,” he said.

“There are people who are out to gain political mileage on this issue.

“I may not be popular in this matter,” he said to Guan Eng, Lim Kit Siang (DAP - Ipoh Timor), Karpal Singh (DAP - Bukit Gelugor) and the other MPs who had raised the matter.

Karpal Singh said in his 26 years as MP, he had yet to witness such restrictions.

Kit Siang said the ban made it seem as if reporters were dangerous animals. “This has made the Malaysian Parliament a world news item. We want an open Parliament.”

Datuk Mohamed Aziz (BN-Sri Gading) later interrupted the debate on the Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority Bill by bringing up the issue.

“Point of Order. Which rule is being referred to block journalists from covering (Parliament)? In 50 years this has never happened.

“Their work is affected,” he added.

President of the National Union of Journalists Malaysia Norila Mohd Daud said: “The action is unprecedented and has only outraged journalists and media practitioners.”

She said the new ruling appeared to be puzzling and irrational.

Boycott Timeline

9.30am: Reporters arrived at Parliament lobby to discover that red tapes were used to cordon off the main part of the lobby and there were security guards around.

Reporters, photographers and camera crew were only allowed to at a small corner where press conferences used to be held. Lim Guan Eng (DAP-Bagan) was at lobby and spoke to reporters separated by the red tape.

Consensus reached among pressmen to boycott press conferences held at the lobby.

10.30am: When Salahuddin Ayub (PAS-Kubang Kerian) and Khalid Abd Samad (PAS-Shah Alam) expressed their intention to hold a press conference at the lobby, many refused to attend.

10.40am: Photographers, cameramen and journalists left their “working equipment” such as cameras, voice recorders and notebooks on the floor as a sign to stop covering news events at the lobby.

11.30am: After being told that all press members had suspended their work outside the Parliament chamber, Edward Jules, an aide of Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said he respected them and would convey the information to his boss.

However, he returned a few minutes later with Dr Rais and held a press conference, which was only attended by a few official media such as Bernama and RTM.

Opposition MPs Lim Guan Eng (DAP-Bagan) and Tian Chua (PKR-Batu) decided to issue written statements through their aides instead of speaking directly to the press after realising that most reporters were going on “strike”.

But when Ipoh Timor MP special assistant Lim Swee Kuan wanted to distribute some press statements at the media centre, two security guards prevented him from doing so.

“They told me that staff like us are no longer allowed to give out statements and only MPs have the right to do so.

“I then asked them where the directive came from and they told me that ‘we have it in black and white’,” he said.

Noon: Lim Lip Eng (DAP-Segambut), Tian Chua (PKR-Batu), Nurul Izzah Anwar (PKR-Lembah Pantai), R. Sivarasa (PKR-Subang) and Jeff Ooi (DAP-Jelutong) were present at media centre to give their statements but the press told them that the ban is on.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s meeting at noon involving the Barisan Nasional management committee meeting held at the committee room was only covered by Bernama.

2.15pm: A group of Barisan Nasional backbenchers marched through the lobby and announced business as usual for all press members by removing all barricades that restricted the movements of reporters.

Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club deputy chairman Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin said they did not consult the Parliament administration, nor did they get permission from the Dewan Rakyat Speaker before removing the barricade.

Najib’s second meeting – the Cabinet committee on sports development – was also covered only by Bernama.

3pm: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s meeting on palm oil was covered only by Bernama.

3.30pm: Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen, who sent two aides to the media centre to look for press coverage on her 100th day in the ministry, was told “No press coverage at the lobby.”

Poor reporters. All this while, they are writing only the nice things about the government especially The Star and NST. Yet they are being treated with such generosity :) To think of it, this kind of treatment normally only reserved for dangerous animals or potential terrorists. What a shame… but, enjoy it while you can.

Oh? The media felt infuriated and insulted heh? How about the readers that felt insulted reading the lies that you published? No one will respect what you do if YOU do not respect your own profession. All this while you are happy playing the role of a lap dog, sucking up to your political master. Now, taste your own medicine!

(Above messages are specially dedicated for MSM)

I shall stop with the media bashing. There are good media out there, Malaysiakini, The Sun, some Chinese newspaper that I cannot read but I know are quite balance in their reports. Now let’s talk about the reasons cited for the ban.

Security reasons? What security reasons? Hey, we were given the same bullshit last time they cancelled the move to use indelible ink, citing the same reason. Muahahahahahahaha! Security reasons!!! The reporters are threat to national security, OHMAIGOAT!! This is so funny, really.

They need more order in the lobby? What? They think they are dealing with bunch of school kids? Parliament is not a school where you need to tell the kids what to do, stay in the line when queuing, keep your voice low when talking bla bla. These are adults, they would know better to be fools. I would think some MPs are behaving more like spoiled kids than the reporters. They definitely need more order than the reporters.

There are people who are out to gain politic mileage? I would think there are people feeling the heat since after the GE the media seems to ‘open up’ a bit more and be a little bit more fair in reporting the news. Some people are finishing their last mileage, that is sure.

Chief editors back protest

KUALA LUMPUR: Newspaper and news website chief editors have lent their support to colleagues protesting against restrictive moves imposed by Parliament authorities, saying the decision was an unnecessary hindrance and an insult to the press.

****************************************************************

We are in such a mess now, it is hard not to bitch about things and just move on. Yesterday, there were reports saying petrol stations would go on strike for 3 days, and some saying only on Thursday? It turned out to be a rumour. We never really know if it was a rumour or not.. Anyone can come out with a statement saying it was a rumour while they do their shady deals behind doors. In this country, decisions are made behind closed doors.

This particular ‘rumour’ caused many motorists to dash to petrol stations and pump all they can. I received sms from Melbie telling me in Sabah, massive jams happened because of this. She even blogged about it. Hmm, not only Sabah, but I heard also happening everywhere around the country?

Then the decision by petrol stations to not accept credit card as form of payment. I pity those working in sales and marketing line. They always on the move, running around meeting clients and they normally use up to RM1k-1.5k of petrol per month. They normally claim for the petrol usage at the end of the month, so most of them will be given a credit card by their company or they need to use their own credit card 1st. Their basic salary probably 1.5-2.5k, depending on experience and position. Now, how are they going to fork out RM1k to pump for petrol? :???:

I know how hard it is, running around and for you to use money from your ‘meagre’ income first and claim it at the end of the month. Been there, done that. Tough… You need to have a lot of cash ready and unneccessary expose yourself to danger.

If the petrol stations are not happy with the interest rate imposed by banks,  then they should take it up with banks not with the consumers. People already struggling to cope with the recent increase in fuel price and this move will cause more burden to the already cash-stripped consumers.

ps: Malaysia Boleh is really a butt-joke now.. with this kind of news
