Reunited with my Sarah last Saturday after a month of her solitary confinement inside the workshop. I have been hounding their asses to finish the repair works fast. Insurance company already approved the claim, I need the car to shuttle my ass around town, especially going to work.
Life is no fun without own transport, especially when you’re staying at place where is a 20 mins drive from your working place, 10-15 mins from town, where all the fun is. So how I survived my one month period without Sarah?
Initially I made an arrangement with a friend, where I would send her to work in the morning before I go to work then pick her up on my way back home in the evening. Probably I thought it’s not so convenient for me (and her) to do that so I leased a motorcycle from another friend, used that for a while and found out the bike was performing pathetically to carry my heavy ass around. The sad grunts from its engine almost like pleading me to stop riding it further, so I did.
I went back to the first arrangement for few more days and then on the last week I asked another colleague whether he would kindly let me follow his chopper to-and-fro from office to my house, since he’s staying not very far from my place. Night outings were minimised during the period. I only went out when there were friends kind enough to come and fetch me hehe.
The insurance claim for the repair work is around RM8k+ and since I took back Sarah last Saturday, I’ve been visiting the workshop twice. Not happy. 1st visit was due to the annoying noise coming from the left tyre or bottom of the car I wasn’t sure, then the screeching sound from the timing belt area and the alarm lights on the front and rear not working. Turns out, some metal pipings under the car were too close and hitting each other, creating the annoying noise, the noise from the timing belt area was solved by putting more lubricant oil at the motor and well, the alarm lights was not installed properly.
Then this morning, the engine was overheated. I was driving to work when I felt hot air coming from the air conditioner vent and I looked at the temperature gauge, holy shiet it’s at MAX temperature. Twice while slowing down the car was about to die on me. Not again. When I stopped to check the water in the radiator, it was none. Evaporated into thin air, must be. Filled back the water, then brought the car to the workshop for the 2nd time of the week. Already twice this week I took some time off to visit the workshop.
Needless to say, my attendance and punctuality at work sucks. It’s not like I want it that way. Who wants to take emergency leave for fun? Who wants to take unpaid leave and get salary deduction and on top of that hearing remarks from your superior that you’re not giving enough commitment to your work.
I find it funny and quite unreasonable that even though in the past that I managed to complete the given tasks within allocated time with the limited information and resources, my KPI would be based more on my punctuality to arrive at work and my attendance. I always try stay back a little longer to top up the time whenever I am late to work.
Like I said, it would look bad on my record to come in late (5-10 mins late, come on! I never bitch about the time I stay back more than 5-10 mins) but not that I intended to do that. My absence from work was with reason, and hey I got my salary deductions for the unpaid leave, so it’s quite fair no? Need not to rub it it, implying I’m incompetent and all that. Show me my delivered works, not just focusing on trivial matters. End of the day, you just want the assigned work to be done no? And I did exactly that, so only that matters to me. It’s not like you’re paying top dollar. Ehe! Anyway when you’re a modern slave, boss is always right. *weak smile*
Sorry, I digress. After inspection and me showing not very happy face, found out the rubber hose connecting the radiator and the engine was loose, water was leaking from the joint. Fixed that and Sarah is all well for now. I hope. Please don’t make my life miserable again. I’ve had enough.
I would like to express my gratitude for the help that I received from my friends. I’m glad to have many good and caring friends and I wouldn’t trade anything for that. Hmm, on a second thought, well maybe I will. Make your offer. *grin* You guys rock my smelly socks!
ps: Why Sarah? Thet two of you with the name Sarah in my friends list, don’t perasan lah! I just love the sound of it. Say it. Say-rah. Num num num yum yum.

Who is Mohd. Faizi Bin Che Abu? He’s quite a celebrity judge I think.
1. He’s the Magistrate who sentenced Batu MP and PKR strategic director Chua Tian Chang, aka Tian Chua to six months’ jail and a fine of RM3,000 for biting a police constable’s arm like biting sugarcane.
Reality bites for Tian Chua
By LISA GOH
KUALA LUMPUR: Batu MP Chua Tian Chang, aka Tian Chua, was convicted yesterday of causing hurt to a police constable and stopping him from discharging his duty two years ago.
Magistrate Mohd Faizi Che Abu sentenced Tian Chua to six months’ jail and a fine of RM3,000 but granted him a stay of execution pending his appeal to the High Court.
If the sentence is upheld, he could be disqualified as an MP.
2. He’s also the Magistrate who sentenced Actress Noniswara’s husband to RM700 fine for assault.
Assaulting Ex-Wife, Actress Noniswara’s Husband Fined RM700
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 (Bernama) — Telecommunications company U Mobile chairman Datuk Rosman Ridzuan, who is the husband of actress Noniswara Baharudin, was fined RM700 by the Magistrate’s Court here Monday after he pleaded guilty to having assaulted his ex-wife, Azura Ibrahim, four years ago.
Magistrate Mohd Faizi Che Abu also ordered that Rosman be jailed a week if he failed to pay the fine.
See the consistency of judgement? Same crime – assault, but different sentences meted Well, I know don’t which one is more serious, hitting a woman or biting a cop for punching you. Oh? Cannot self defence eh?
3. He was the Coroner for Actress Sujatha’s ’suicide’ case too. He ruled that Actress Sujatha committed suicide and there was no foul play involved.
Actress Sujatha committed suicide: Coroner (Update)
Coroner: “The reason for her suicidal act was cremated together with her.”
KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Sujatha committed suicide and there was no foul play, coroner Mohd Faizi Che Abu ruled Tuesday.
In his findings, coroner Mohd Faizi Che Abu held that “the reason for her suicidal act was cremated together with her.”
He said he had been deprived of obtaining medical certainty as to whether the deceased had taken paraquat because her urine samples were missing and no post-mortem was conducted on her.
He must be doing a damn good job as a judge for he was recently promoted. Good job My Lord

I would like to congratulate another judge, it is Judge Azhaniz Teh Azman Teh for getting a promotion as well. Who is he? Oh, he’s the judge for the case involving two ex-PKR assemblyman turned BN friendly independents – Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (Behrang), Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu (Changkat Jering).

You want more examples? This is not something new, it has happened in the past.
Well, Gani Patail was a senior deputy public prosecutor when he was handling Anwar’s Sodomy I case. Now he is the Attorney General. Musa Hassan was a senior assistant commissioner and one of his glorious moment was when he carried the semen-stained mattress to court in Sodomy I and now he is the Inspector-General of Police.
Not forgetting Augustine Paul, a very ‘relevant’ judge. Augustine Paul was a lowly judicial commissioner in the Sessions Court before he was promoted to High Court judge a week before Anwar’s Sodomy I trial. He is a Federal Court judge now and surprise!! He was the judge who in his trademark of verbose and unintelligible judgement ruled that Perak Assembly Speaker V Sivakumar does not have the power to suspend Mentri Besar Datuk Zambry Abd Kadir and six state executive council members from attending the assembly – Perak state assembly fiasco.
Lesson of the the many ’stories’ above? Just do a good job you are tasked with and you’ll get rewarded handsomely. That’s meritocracy, what you think I am implying huh? I am happy for Malaysia, at least we do uphold meritocracy when it is necessary.

Absurd – adj. utterly or obviously senseless, illogical, or untrue; contrary to all reason or common sense; laughably foolish or false
It is absurd that we have Malaysians dressing up as sexy or even sexier than Beyonce walking in the streets but we want to impose dress code for Beyonce to perform in Malaysia.

It is absurd that compromise means we are expected to get lesser deal, a watered down version of Beyonce. Instead of Beyonce as Beyonce, you have Beyonce dressing up as Siti Nurhaliza. Or is it Siti Nurhaliza playing Beyonce? I’m confused.

Compromise is a must for we are living in a diverse, complicated and overly sensitised society. But in my opinion, compromise should be made among parties who have disputes over a deal, not the deal itself. The original deal must be remained unchanged. The trick here is to let people to be free to make their informed choice, based on their level of acceptance, cultural and religious beliefs, sensitivities whatever.
The right decision is to let Beyonce performs as Beyonce as long as she is not breaking the laws and as far as I know, dressing provocatively, being sexy and shaking your booty is not a crime in this country, yet.
So, spare the moral teachings, cultural sensitivities and your creative definitions of ‘provocative’ and ’sexy’ to yourself because those things are subjective. It is ridiculous and unwise to impose something which is subjective in nature, for many of us do not share the same set of beliefs.
As for the conservatives – allow me to call them the anal retentive bunch (only in my worthless opinion) – they are free to make their voices heard and let them preach to their supporters or convert non believers. They should stay away from the concert together with those who believe in their cause but shouldn’t disrupt the concert itself from going on. They can boycott the concert by all means, just let people choose freely whether to join them or not.
As for those who bend on enjoying their worldly pleasures – the hedonistic hell seekers (again, only in my worthless opinion) – they are free to enjoy the performance by the sexy, provocatively dressed, booty shaking Beyonce. No judgement should be made against them for going to the concert, because it’s their own choice to make. It is interesting to note, personal choice is becoming extinct in this country.
By this arrangement, the anal retentive bunch will be happy because they are allowed to voice out their displeasures over the act and together with their followers staying away from this unhealthy distraction and getting their faith intact. The hedonistic hell seekers also happy because they are closer to hell now. Beyonce is happy because she doesn’t have to dress up like Siti Nurhaliza. Everyone is happy, isn’t that what we want?
You know what else is absurd in this country? It is a crime to have fellatio but somehow it is not to have cunnilingus. Read on Section 377A of the Penal Code. Wait, fellatio what? Fella doing a Horatio? Cunnilingus what? Cunning-linguist? Well, fellatio – blowjob. Cunnilingus – dining at the V. Still don’t get it?

Blowjob – The stimulation of the penis using the lips, tongue and inside of the mouth, either as a prelude to further sexual activity or as a means of inducing orgasm and ejaculation directly. Dining at the V – an antonym of blowjob, in this case the act of oral stimulation is performed on the clitoris or vulva of the female.
I am sorry, I may have shaken your faith there with my overly detailed descriptions but I already tried my best to make it sounds as scientific and boring as it can be. Stop imagining things now! *snapping fingers*
Welcome to Malaysia, where absurdity is overrated.
ps: I don’t quite get the crotch hugging swimsuit ‘dress’ that many female artists wearing to perform lately. You guys sure have noticed Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Shakira, Beyonce, Madonna wearing it.
Fugly piece of clothing. Too much focus on the camel toe, erk. Especially when these women move in a BIG way. *shudders*
