I just came back from watching EPL football games with my friends. I’m still wide awake, so I thought that why don’t I pent down something for this God forsaken blog.
My life is really in a mess this month. Never before I have such amount of bad things happened to me in just a short period of my life. Yes, I’ve been through a lot in my short life span of 26 years especially the past 5 years, but this month takes the cake, really. Starting from early of the month until yesterday, I was constantly bombarded by unwanted incidents and encountered bad mojos.
Some of you may aware of the latest mishap happened to me. I was involved in a car accident yesterday. I went to friend’s place for his open house invitation yesterday then proceeded to Al Fresco to have some drinks with friends, then went back home. I was quite sleepy so I drove a little bit faster than usual. My mobile phone battery was dead as well. While making a turn at this one roundabout, I accelerated along the straight road and wasn’t aware of a Pajero 4WD in my lane suddenly slowing down. Probably the driver was stopping by for God knows the reason why .
I hit on the brake when I saw the 4WD, but I realised it was too late before I would hit the 4WD with my driving speed. In that split second, I swerved to the left side of the road hoping I could stop at the green area. Apparently I was a bit too fast, my car moved forward and knocked the lamp post and stopped. If not for the lamp post, I would end up in the roadside drain.
I came out and inspected my car. Oh shit, the damage to car was quite serious. The front skirt came off and flew few metres away from the car. The left tyre burst, the radiator wreaked together with the both front lamps. The front part of the car was smashed in and down, I couldn’t even lift the hood up. I couldn’t call anyone with my mobile phone because its battery was dead, so I just stood there until a car stopped by and it turned out the guy was from a repair workshop. Cut the story short, he sent me back home with his car and asked his workshop to tow my car away.
I must thank the unseen, invisible divine forces for protecting me and keeping me alive. This is the 2nd time I involved in a considerably serious, which could be a fatal, life threatening accident but I escaped with not a single scratch this time. My previous accident happened when I was working in Puchong, Selangor where I was knocked down in my motorbike by a lorry. I narrated the incident here, complete with diagrams and everything
I was involved in a messy affair early of this month, which the person threatened to harm me for some misunderstanding and paranoia on his part, then I had problem with my eyes, my phone dropped and damaged to the extent it is still working poorly but somehow bearable, something happened back home where a member of the family disappointed me again with his actions, my blog was down and I screwed up during the simple upgrade to the blog platform, which wiped out most of the uploaded data for the past few months. Before my accident last night, I went to withdraw some money and while I checked the balance for my another bank using the ATM card, it was suddenly swallowed by the machine. I am emotionally exhausted with my personal relationship, where some complications appearing at some point.
Despite all this, I am glad I am still taking it all in a stride and just shrugged it off and just assumed that bad luck demon is making its visit. Just bear with me with my whiny posts, status updates and tweets for the time being. I’m grateful to have good people around me taking care of me and offering helps when I need them and for that I say thanks!
Life will be definitely better after this. When you hit rock bottom, there’s no other way but to go up, right? This is just a phase that I need to overcome in order to appreciate good things in life better. Wish my the best and all the lucks please Off to sleep now, you guys take care!
ps: Thanks to many friends who called and sent messages, dropping comments asking me of my situation when they received the news. I’m good and hey here I am writingsomething for you guys to read hehe…
First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Muslim friends:
“Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir Batin.”
Me wishing 1Malaysia -- Selamat 1HariRaya, Ketupat Didahulukan, Rendang Diutamakan. Erk, stammered a bit at the first part because, I’m a bit allergic to this ‘1′ thing *chuckles*
I’m sorry I didn’t extend my Raya greeting earlier but Raya is for the whole month of Syawal and today is only the 4th day of Raya, right? I just came back from a long weekend at my hometown, Sarikei. I went back on Thursday morning with Goolooloo tagging along. She was dropping by Sibu to see her beloved boyfriend.
We started our ‘balik kampung’ journey at 6am, reached Sibu around 11am. The road was pretty clear so I had the road all for myself, all the way up. That explained the 5 hours drive from Miri-Sibu. I stopped for lunch in Sibu before continuing my journey to Sarikei.
I spent my time in Sarikei like how I normally do it when I’m back home. Pigging on food, (my puasa effort during the fasting month went down the drain), watching tv and meeting some friends.
Oh, I met up with Alice’s bro in Sarikei. It was kinda funny. I was having my kampua at Hiek Lik Cafe when I saw a familiar looking guy came in with a red helmet on his hand, sat down across me and ordered what else but kampua.
Infamous kampua at Hiek Lik Cafe. Arguable the best kampua in Sarikei No, kampua is not kolo mee. Kampua > Kolo Mee. HAHA! (Image source: S-blog)
I didn’t go and greet the guy because I was unsure and there wasn’t any telling sign that the guy would know me. So, I gobbled down my tasty kampua and went back home. When I checked my Facebook status:
“Bongkersz Bong is having kampua at Hiek Lik cafe. Yum Yum.” 19 September at 11:31 via Selective Twitter Status
I saw a comment:
“Jimmy Ling oi taukeh!!!!!i think i saw u this morning but i wasn’t sure if it was u! are u still in sarikei? pergi lim teh?” 19 September at 12:05
He gave me his phone number and we met for breakfast cum lunch at Glory Cafe the next day. Hey nice meeting you mate! All the best for your future undertakings! *wink!*
I’ll just end this post with some photos of food only available in Sarikei!
Roti Kahwin at Aik Seng Cafe. Your tiny puny Roti Kahwin is a no match against our awesome Roti Kahwin *smugs* Even our burgers are bigger than yours! Bwahahahahahahaha! (image source: S-blog)
ps: I just realised that, instead of putting up ketupat or rendang photos, I put up a photo of kampua with char siew (barbecued pork meat). *sweats*. Please don’t get offended. Photos are for illustration purpose only hehe.
pss: I was busy visiting houses with my partners in crime. Let’s see if there are awesome photos for me to put up on this blog later.
I had the scare of my lives last week. (and still have it, will explain that later.) I was on a working trip to Lahad Datu, Sabah and was waiting for the connecting flight to Lahad Datu from Kota Kinabalu at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA). As usual I would spend my 4 hours waiting time hanging at the McD outlet. Yes, because of the free wifi connection hehe.
I was busy tweeting, logging on Facebook, checking mails, looking at drawings and suddenly I noticed that something was wrong with my vision. I saw things in double, shadowy and a little bit blur. I looked closer at the netbook monitor and then looked at the texts of a novel I brought.
All the texts on the monitor and book were shadowy and a little bit blur. The texts expanded, became double and mashed up together. Hey this is kinda cool! So I thought. When I looked at things at a distance, also same thing happened. Double vision, shadowy and a little bit blur.
I didn’t think much of that, I thought probably I just had less sleep and bit tired from the partying the during the weekend. And I always rub my eyes due to the stupid allergic reaction that I have, which always leave me with itchy eyes and stuffy nose. But the next day I came back to Miri, the problem with my vision persisted. It was getting worst in the afternoon, I felt really uncomfortable and annoyed so I took the evening off and went to see the company panel doctor.
He said my left eye seems like was infected with a certain type of conjunctivitis which I forgot the term and my right eye no problem but couldn’t explain the problem with my vision so he put me for an appointment with a visiting eye specialist on the next day.
To cut it short, I went for the check up on the next day, with the eye specialist dropping all kind of funny liquids in my eyes and using all funny gadgets to peek into my eyes. Oopss did he see through my soul?? Eyes are the windows to the soul, to phrase a famous saying
The eye specialist also found no problem with my eyes. The words he used ‘no big problem’ (in Mandarin) which I instantly asked ‘means have ’small’ problem?’ and he laughed. “No, no problem at all. Are you diabetic? Do you have any family member with diabetes? One of the possible explanation for sudden change or deterioration of vision is diabetes”.
Which I replied ‘No. I don’t have any family member with diabetes. I just did a medical checkup last month and my sugar level is fine.” He then checked my medical checkup report and confirmed that. In the end, he just gave me 2 bottles of eye drop and asked me to use those, and come back if the problem persists.
The bad news is, yes it persists. Last night and this morning, it was okay in the sense it was getting better. But, after lunch time today, the blurness and double , shadowy vision came back. I’m typing this post with my new found vision. It’s kinda weird to do so LOL! In future if this continues, I may need to find an speech to text software for me to blog and I may need to ditch my Tweets, FB etc, probably spare you guys from reading the craps I wrote. I hear anyone sighing for relief?
I’m going to keep using the prescriptions and monitor the condition. Let’s hope it’s just a temporary thing, due to watching too much porn and reading too much craps on the internet. Told you it’s hazardous to do so.
I’ll just end this post with a song, I dedicate to myself. One of my all time favourite song, Puddle of Mudd -- Blurry. You guys take care
I just came back from this place inside the dog’s mouth. Yes. Dog’s mouth. Not cow’s head. Look up Lahad Datu on Google Map. It was a work-related trip, kinda like a monthly affair for me now, except no blood involved. *gasp* Did I just make a sexist joke there?!
As for some comments in my Facebook saying I took planes like riding bikes, well from Miri to Lahad Datu, I need to transit at Kota Kinabalu. So it’s Miri-KK-Lahad Datu. I would spend time waiting at the airport more than the time I spend for work on the trip. (much less if you count the time I tweet lol) Typically, I need to wait for 4-5 hours at KK for the next flight to Lahad Datu.
Enough of my boring life. Let’s move on to my favourite topic, bashing idiots. It’s Friday so I will be gentle.
1st up for bashing today is.. HishamMOOddin Hussein, the Home Minister or famously known as his alter ego, Kerisman.
Hisham defends cow-head protestors
By Asrul Hadi Abdullah Sani
PUTRAJAYA, Sept 2 – The Home Minister today defended and justified last Friday’s cow-head demonstration after meeting with Malay-Muslim representatives of Shah Alam’s Section 23 at his office here today.
Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein pointed out that the residents felt victimized and had no intention to stir racial emotion.
Why would we want to penalise anybody? HAHAHA!
“They are not getting off scot-free. They felt victimised and feel that there is another valid explanation on their part. There was no intention on their part to cause racial divide. They, the organisers, who are sitting left and right of me, didn’t even know that somebody was going to bring the head of the cow during that demonstration.” he said.
He added that the residents only wanted their voices to be heard but it was unfortunate that “the publicity they received was negative because it was linked with racial and religious sentiments.”
A group, claiming to be Muslim residents of Section 23 in Shah Alam, the new site of a Hindu temple, held a demonstration outside the Selangor state secretariat last Friday, dragging a severed cow-head, an animal sacred in Hinduism, which they stomped on and spat at under the gaze of the riot police.
The act was carried out by a group of 50 protestors who oppose the relocation of the Sri Mahamariamman Temple to Section 23 from Section 19, claiming the area is mainly occupied by Malay-Muslims.
The 150-year-old temple was built on a plantation which over the years was developed into housing estates by the Selangor Development Corporation (PKNS). No provisions were made to relocate the temple, which is now in the middle of a Muslim majority area.
Hishammuddin told reporters that the police allowed the demonstrators to proceed because the numbers of protestors were small.
“They said that they were very conscious and all that they wanted to do was to voice their unhappiness about the willingness of the state government to listen to their requests. I was told that even the Hindus there are not so passionate that it is built there (section 23),” he said.
Hishammuddin refuted claims that the protest was organised by Umno and said that the location allocated by the state government is not suitable because Section 23 is predominantly Malay.
However, a check last week showed the neighbourhood was multi-racial, with Indians making up more than a quarter of those who live there.
“If I wanted to use the issue to create chaos in Selangor, I can but we didn’t take such actions,” Hishammuddin said.
He tried to play down the cow-head incident by pointing out that there were previous incidents where a pig-head was used.
“I have it in my records to show there were cases where a pig-head was used by irresponsible parties including leaving the head in front of an Umno building covered by an Umno flag,” he said, but offered no details of such an act.
The Umno vice-president warned irresponsible parties not to provoke racial sentiments because it goes against the concept of 1 Malaysia.
Hishammuddin told reporters that the residents had met with Hindu Sangam two days ago and both parties will be releasing a media statement tomorrow.
“If it can be resolved quickly and can be done with both sides understanding each other … why would we want to penalise anybody?” he said, suggesting he was not in favour of legal action to be taken against any of the protestors.
This big nose clown must be really dumb and desperate to gain few votes from the ‘victimised’ residents.
1. No intention to stir racial emotion.
My blood is boiling over the stupidity displayed by our Home Minister, although from the experience with the previous Home Minister, we know idiocy is a prerequisite for anyone to hold the portfolio. Let’s listen to the ‘demands’ by the protesters and see whether they have intention or not to stir racial emotion.
“I challenge YB Khalid, YB Rodziah and Xavier Jeyakumar to go on with the temple construction. I guarantee bloodshed and racial tension will happen if this goes on, and the state will be held responsible,” shouted Ibrahim Haji Sabri amid strong chants of “Allahu Akbar!”
He then labelled Khalid a “traitor to the Malay race and Islam“.
Anyone with a thinking brain can relate to the innuendos and loud messages these menace were trying to send across when it involved temple, Hindu and cow. No intention to stir racial (and religious) sentiments my foot.
It is utter bollocks and irresponsible for these residents to cite ‘noise from the temple’ would disturb their own praying and religious activities. Is the Islam faith of the Section 23, Shah Alam residents so weak that they are easily distracted? Well, judging from they did on last Friday, I don’t think anyone who profess and embrace the true spirit of Islam religion would want to be associated with these bunch of low lifes.
And, the last I checked, followers of other religions don’t get offended by the broadcast of prayer calls using loudspeaker 5 times a day starting from early dawn to late evening. At least, they never take it to the streets and carrying a chopped head of what other religion considers as a sacred animal.
2. “..didn’t even know that somebody was going to bring the head of the cow during that demonstration.”
This is bullshit. (pun on the bull not intended) Look at these photos.
Who was ‘carrying’ the cow’s head?
Look ma! They are carrying the cow’s head!
For sure it didn’t appear out of nowhere and joined the demonstration. Wait, actually I photochopped the cow’s head to the photos to make it appear like they did carry it. Poor them for being framed by me.
Same guy above carrying the cow’s head stomping it.
Even if it’s true they didn’t bring the cow’s head, why they spat and stomped on it? And to think our dumb Home Minister believed the words by these liars. Wait, he’s too dumb to comprehend and went to say these residents only wanted their voices to be heard and it was unfortunate “the publicity they received was negative because it was linked with racial and religious sentiments.”
3. The police allowed the demonstrators to proceed because the numbers of protestors were small.
Apparently, gathering peacefully holding candles with no threats and killing of animals is more dangerous than a bunch of maniacs crying for bloodshed, spitting and stomping on the head of dead cow.
4. “…play down the cow-head incident by pointing out that there were previous incidents where a pig-head was used.”
Don’t clown us, Mr Clown-face Minister. Show us the prove if you have them. No way your publicity hungry, biased medias would not jump on such stories if they ever happened. Come on, show us what you have in your records.
Even if it’s true, you know doing that kind of action is WRONG. And to retaliate in the same manner is ALSO WRONG. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Shame on you for trying to downplay the cow-head incident and setting a dangerous precedent by seemingly suggesting the cow’s head protest is okay because they were previous incidents where a pig head was used.
5. The Umno vice-president warned irresponsible parties not to provoke racial sentiments because it goes against the concept of 1 Malaysia.
Oh funny. Now, those sitting next to you, what they did on that Friday afternoon again? Who is going against the concept of 1Malaysia if it’s not you by supporting and justifying the actions by the residents? You are truly a piece of shit.
Phearrrr meh!!!
Seems like I waste too much internet space for HishaMOOddin and left little for the rest of the crooks. I’ll just write a short, simplified notes for the them
“Furthermore a public debate will only undermine efforts to strengthen the party especially if the issues brought up are sensationalised by the Opposition,” he said.
Now you are suggesting that ‘charging someone of their wrong doings can create unrest?’ That’s the dumbest thing coming our from your mouth, yet. I look forward for more stupid statements from you in the future. Or maybe you should take up this advice from a commenter in Malaysian Insider.
“An daddy-influence-conferred (otherwise disqualified) deputy with a morsel of wisdom would know when not to fart, much less through the mouth.”
MOOsa Hasan – Congratulations for getting your tenure as Inspector General of Police extended. May you continue to work for the demise betterment of Umno and BN and the crooks. Keep stalking those buggers in black shirts and candle vigils freaks. Crush them and rejoice!
MOOhyiddin Yassin – Just shut up, idiot. You are spoiling the very 1Malaysia your boss is trying not very hard to achieve. Oh, you are playing the bad guy and he’s playing the good guy? Very impressive performance. Keep up it but not for long for the wind of change is here and this time it’s ain’t your fart yo!
ps: Sorry for the absence, tweeting is so fun that I neglected my blog As you can see from the Archive section at the side bar, for August I had only 6 posts while in July I had 18.
